We had the good fortune of connecting with Susie McIntyre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Susie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted to create a beautiful relaxing space for all of my beautiful clients to come and be pampered. Having only one client in the salon at a time I am able to place all of my focus on them and have no interruptions or noise to disrupt there relaxing treatment.

What should our readers know about your business?
I opened up The Beauty Collective Sunshine Coast in November 2020. I am a sole operator, appt only and only have one client in the salon at a time – this is their time to be pampered and made to feel special as they are. I feel as though I have created a space that all of my amazing clients love and can’t wait to return for their next appt. I am a practising Corneotherapist and offer treatments and products that allign with this methodology. I am so very proud of how I have built my little business from scratch to a very busy little luxe salon in 3 short years. They say you attract your tribe, and I have to say that I just love my tribe each and every one of them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So easy – I think I tell every new client that arrives to the coast

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My amazing Dad was one of the driving forces behind me opening up my Salon, he sadly passed away in August. I also have the love and support from my husband and family.
