We had the good fortune of connecting with Sherille Marquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sherille, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Through my own journey and the work I do with divorced women and single moms, I’ve come to understand the profound impact that healing and empowerment can have on not just one person, but on entire communities. When a woman finds her strength, her resilience, her inner power, it’s like a beacon of light shining out into the world.

It creates a ripple effect that spreads out and touches everything around it. Especially if she is a single mom. She has the ability to guide her children and help them thrive, showing them that despite the challenges, they can emerge strong and whole, not broken by the storm of divorce. As a single mom, she becomes a powerful role model, teaching her children resilience, courage, and the importance of embracing change with grace.

My own life is an example of this where my boys and I navigated the journey of healing and growth. I’m incredibly proud to see the young men they’ve become, knowing that they are whole and complete, ready to add value to society just by being themselves. They’ve learned resilience, empathy, and the power of authenticity through our shared experiences, and I have no doubt that they will make a positive impact wherever they go. As a single mom, witnessing their strength and growth fills me with deep gratitude and joy, knowing that our journey together has shaped them into compassionate, confident individuals who are equipped to make a difference in the world.

Please tell us more about your business. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today business-wise. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
As a Transformational Coach for divorced women, what truly sets me apart is my ability to facilitate quantum leap shifts for my clients, resulting in lasting transformations. This isn’t just a business for me—it’s been a journey of over a decade, investing countless hours and resources into my own growth and learning. I’ve dedicated myself to self-study, trial and error, and invested over $100K in training, workshops, mentors, and coaches.

What makes my approach unique is that it’s not just theoretical—it’s rooted in real-life experience and hard-won lessons. Through a blend of science, spiritual wisdom, alternative healing modalities, and personal insights, I offer a holistic approach that guides divorced women to reconnect with their authentic selves, reclaim their power, and build a life better than before.

I’m incredibly excited about the impact I’m making. Changing the narrative of post-divorce life for middle-aged women is something that fuels my passion every single day. I firmly believe that divorce is not just an ending—it’s an opportunity for profound growth and a chance to live a life that’s not just survived, but passionately lived.

My entrepreneurial journey hasn’t been easy. Transitioning from corporate America to a heart-centered business was a leap of faith, but I’ve learned to trust my intuition and honor my calling. I’ve faced my fears head-on, stepping out of my comfort zone to share my story and message across different platforms. I believe that when your purpose becomes bigger than you, it becomes a calling that you can’t ignore.

I’ve used the same framework I teach my clients to quantum leap my own life and business. And now, I’m excited to expand my reach even further. My vision includes establishing a non-profit in the future to provide free resources like coaching and workshops to divorced women and single moms, making a global impact with my 12 week program “She Thrives Academy” and podcast “It Gets Better from Here with Sherille Marquez”.

I want my brand to be known that I’m not just here to help individuals—I’m on a mission to make a global impact. My goal is to help millions of divorced women and single moms change the narrative that life after divorce can be anything less than extraordinary, inspiring, and full of endless possibilities. And if I can help just one person with my message, I know it sends a ripple effect throughout the galaxy helping to uplift consciousness.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Los Angeles, I’d want to give her an unforgettable experience. We’d start our adventure with a hike at the famous Runyon Canyon, taking in the breathtaking views of the city. After working up an appetite, we’d head to Rodeo Drive for a delicious lunch at one of the trendy eateries. Then, to truly unwind and pamper ourselves, we’d indulge in a half-day spa session at Tomoko Spa, rejuvenating our bodies and minds.

We’d continue our adventure by heading to one of my favorite spots, Perch, where we’d enjoy cocktails with stunning rooftop views of the city skyline. Or, if we’re craving a more laid-back atmosphere, we might opt for Castaways, a Burbank gem. Throughout the week, I’d make sure to show her some of the must-see sights of LA, from iconic landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame to hidden gems like the Griffith Observatory for a breathtaking view of the city lights.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d be honored to dedicate this shoutout to my incredible tribe of family and friends who held loving space for me throughout every stage of my divorce journey. Here is a heartfelt love letter from me to them:

To my dear family and friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support, understanding, and non-judgmental presence. You became my rock, my safe haven, my small village, as I navigated the twists and turns of divorce and single motherhood.

Thank you for allowing me the space to find my own answers, for never imposing your opinions or judgments on me, and for simply being there with open arms and loving hearts. Your encouragement, your listening ears, and your willingness to stand by my side through it all meant more to me than words can express.

I want to especially acknowledge the love and support you extended to my children. Your presence in their lives helped them feel secure and loved during a time of great upheaval. You truly embody the spirit of a village, and I am endlessly grateful for each and every one of you.

Thank you for being my pillars of strength, my guiding lights, and my constant source of love and support. I am forever grateful for your presence in my life.
