We had the good fortune of connecting with Adrienne Arieff and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Adrienne, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?

Taking Initiative and Being a Self-Starter – from founding my own communications agency Arieff Communications and leading major initiatives across several roles, like helping The Outcast Agency become more of a B2C integrated marketing firm to co-founding Project Mentor (now the Project for Women) and co-founding and creating 1SAVES20 – waterless skincare – pioneering a new category in affordable wellness at Walmart and amazon.

Being committed to professional growth pursuing a Master’s degree from Columbia University and taking on diverse leadership roles across industries and doing a lot of pro-bono work with the UN, Project MENTOR, and WAKE and now starting a new non-profit initiative around seniors and loneliness. I am not interested in power but being a values-driven professional with influence around those I interact with in positive and mindful ways.

What should our readers know about your business?

I feel incredibly fortunate to be working with all my clients. What sets these organizations apart is their boldclear vision and commitment to creating positive change in the world.

With one of my clients – Editor.AI, I get to be part of their mission to invest in AI and creatives – keeping creativity intact and using AI for good. They aren’t just focused on profits, but on actively using AI to save time not replace creativity.

Another client – Curious Cardinals takes a different but equally inspiring approach by fostering human potential through transformative mentoring models. Their vision is to reimagine learning in a way that unleashes curiosity. As a consultant, I get to create more immersive experiences through hosting my own events, and curating mom ambassadors with my personal twist – its always a success when you put heart into it. Seeing the “aha” moments when people have breakthroughs is hugely rewarding.

I also recently co-founded a non-profit called New Friend with the backing of a family foundation. It addresses loneliness among senior citizens and is launching in Hollywood this July. Additionally, I have a new lifestyle podcast called Ageless Diaries on Spotify, where I speak with California-based business and spiritual leaders aged 40 and above who are thriving. We dive into the life-changing moments that founders discover along their journeys and why taking risks and learning something new leads to personal and professional growth.

To be honest, getting to this point in my career working with such purposeful organizations was not easy. Early on, I struggled to find roles that fed my entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work on cutting-edge ideas. I had to be incredibly self-motivated, take some detours, and learn to get comfortable with uncertainty. But I’ve realized that persisting through challenges ultimately leads to greater alignment.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the power of following your authentic interests, rather than just chasing job titles or paycheck. When you can merge your skills with work you genuinely care about, you become exponentially more invested and impactful. Betting on yourself is always a good idea. Feeling confidant will help you choose not chase!

More than anything, I want my personal and professional brand to represent possibility, always with heart at its core.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1: Ease into LA at Little Beach House in Malibu or grab some sushi at Zuma Beach. Have a leisurely brunch, then spend the afternoon relaxing on Zuma Beach and maybe even catching a sunset. Day 2: Vintage shopping day. We’d hit up Recess and Scout and walk Melrose. Eat at Pace in Laurel Canyon then drinks at Chateau Marmont.
Day 3: Hike time! We’d spend the morning at Franklin Canyon or Runyon Canyon. Afternoon pick-me-up with Erewhon’s juices. Then go to my home in Laurel Canyon and cook then eat outside and check out the owls!
Day 4: Cultured day starting at the Hammer Museum then Kazu Nori for rolls. We’d then make our way to LACMA or the Getty museum.
Day 5: Brunch at the Fountain Coffee Room in the Beverly Hills Hotel – OLD school Hollywood vibes. Then motivate to Los Feliz and walk around Griffith Park. The architecture is so beautiful in Los Feliz.
Day 6: Head over to Melrose for shopping at The Row, Chloé, Martha Medeiros and the Future Perfect home store. To end the week I love Beverly Hot Springs for a classic Korean spa experience.
Day 7: Before my friend leaves would go on one more hike across the street from me off of Mulholland. Hiking in LA is pretty special and I am talking 60 minute walk/hikes.
