Hi Banke, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Perseverance is undeniably a foundation of success in any career, particularly in the competitive and demanding field of filmmaking. As a filmmaker, I have come to understand that perseverance is not just about enduring challenges but also about maintaining a relentless drive toward achieving goals despite obstacles and setbacks.

Success in filmmaking often requires seizing opportunities and taking proactive steps to advance your career. Perseverance drives me to network actively, seek out opportunities for learning and growth, pitch projects with enthusiasm and conviction, and consistently work towards refining my craft. It’s about being persistent in pursuing opportunities, building relationships, making meaningful contributions to the industry, and not seeing any job as little.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my film career in Lagos, Nigeria. I have worked as a radio personality, a public relations executive, a writer for a wedding TV station, an associate producer, a production manager, and a producer for web series, TV shows, and Movies.

I am most proud of my drive to be better at my craft and I am excited to create TV shows and keep growing in my career.

Looking back, one thing that has set me apart is being enthusiastic, hard-working, and taking on roles/jobs that were not assigned to me. I worked jobs even when I thought I was overqualified for a job, but I kept going because I know that no experience is lost. When I work, I try to put my emotions aside and not let them get the best of me. I focus on doing the job and most importantly try to do a great job.

It’s not been easy navigating a career by yourself, but by the grace of God, dedication, perseverance, and hard work, I am where I am today.

I am excited to create stories that resonate with everyone and be able to make meaningful impact as a filmmaker. Some key lessons I’ve learned are the importance of continuous improvement and the value of collaboration, networking, and being open to diverse perspectives.

I am a person who keeps learning and growing. I want to make art that will stand the test of time so that I can help underprivileged and priviledged people around me and in my community. This is really what keeps me going.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ooooou. It would be a week-long exploring the city, going to the Venice beach, restaurants, and bar hopping.

Brunch at Urth Caffé and great coffee, visit the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame and Grand Central Market in Downtown LA for a diverse range of food.

Need to explore the Griffith Observatory for panoramic views of the city. Dinner at Catch LA for a rooftop dining experience. Go downtown LA for cocktails.

Spend the next day at the beach exploring the boardwalk, shops, and street performers.

First of all, I owe everything to God, because I have been placed among very inspiring and supportive people. I am grateful for everyone I met throughout my career.
