Meet Natasha Artea | Brand Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Natasha Artea and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natasha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Cutie Cute Pets wanted to provide pet every day fashions, accessories, toys and especially cater to that Dog Mom & Dog Dad that wanted to express & show off their love for their pets. We started with collaborating with local businesses from pet bandanas, pet & human tees & now even treats.
What should our readers know about your business?
Cutie Cute Pets is a very special business I not only wanted my boutique to provide & sell pet fashions & accessories but to give back to pets in need. Most of our clients know that from each sale a portion is given back to a pet in need to pet rescues, sanctuaries & our pet communities. My business started because of my rescue who is also our CEO PuP Miss. Izzy Chanel which our family rescued over 7yrs ago & because of the love she has given to our family I wanted to share & give back. This can also be challenging due to wanting to help every rescue & pet in need. It’s also it’s impossible because the pets in need have so many unfortunate situations that pets have faced due to the owners and or their living situations or circumstances. I have learned if we can help one pet at a time it’s an impact on that pets life & we made a small positive impact. I also advocate on behalf of my business to adopt or foster but also to choose a responsible breeder if that’s the direction if some like to go because at the end of the day all pets need a loving & furever home. Cutie Cute Pets wants to have every pet living their like a pet fashionista & have a PAWSOME life in a happy, safe & loving home.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The itinerary would start with taking my bestie to brunch which there’s so many amazing places from LA to OC but I would have to say my favorite is The Cliffs in Laguna beach the view is amazing from ocean front to their drinks & food. Then I would walk around Laguna they have some beautiful artists & studios after I would have us take a drive to Local Gem Collective in Orange, CA. where Cutie Cute Pets is currently displayed along with over 40 small businesses then time for late lunch or early dinner. Now that’s a hard one cuz I have to many in OC but if I had to choose I would say Morton’s it’s been my favorite since I was a little girl & holds so many beautiful moments now memories. After I would have us plan the rest of the week out by planning day beach days & visit pet rescues or sanctuaries to volunteer. If they were any events that week or weekend I would love to introduce them to the PoP Up community aka small business owners from local & surrounding cities especially farmers markets and finish it off with drinks poolside or rooftop bar/lounge depending on the weather since we know California weather is unpredictable…or mayb just take a road trip to Vegas since it’s my second home.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Where do I begin…I have to first give a Shout Out to all my family & friends who have been my biggest supporters, cheerleaders from day one. Then to my clients & their pets our relationships have now grown into friendships. The city & event coordinators/host & especially Local Gem Collective in Orange, CA the owner Jasmin is truly so amazing & inspiring. I want to give her a special Shout Out for giving my business a space to showcase Cutie Cute Pets. I truly appreciate every follower on our social media pages we can’t forget about YOU!
