Meet Benjamin Babadi | Engineering Art Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Benjamin Babadi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Benjamin, why did you pursue a creative career?
I have always been flooded with thoughts of creation, it is a desire in me that needs fulfillment. I found I could the best fulfill it in presence of tangible product that is also available through my channels and website. I live my dream when I am in my creative zone. What rose the fire within me even more is meeting like-minded people and that was working with individual artists whom the passion of creating art is above and beyond that. I believe that is the only way to create a master-piece.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an engineering art designer specialized in making handbags. I see handbags as a body to be decorated with precious components. I like geometry and use math to calculate proportion for a perfect bag and then design accessories to accompany the bag, in particular, I make metal accessories that are made in brass and the gold plated. What sets me apart is the choice of quality of material that I use, silk leather, gold plated accessories and refined bamboos are examples of what I use. This brand is an extension of me, so I work hard to be the best of myself at every step of the way.
The process is definitely not easy, in every area, like design, production, collaboration, sales and marketing, there is a steep learning curve and short amount of time, I see myself constantly learning and growing as the result!
I want the world to know that this is my passion and your satisfaction is our top priority and I take pride in making you happy!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I enjoy outdoor activities, in particular I really like running and biking, I ofter I go for a bike ride in the mountains where I have time to recollect my thoughts and meditate and also have a chance to myself to brainstorm new ideas.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give shoutout to my Art Director, Damian Piotr Radzioch, who has been helping me for the past 7 years. We first met 7 years ago where Damain coordinated me a bag-making course at BagArTus (Bag Art Tuscany). He helped me to express myself and do personal branding. In my opinion, personal branding is a crucial step in success of artists and enthusiast that wand the world to see them. Damian’s consultancy, Art Direction and content creation skills allowed me to build audience and reputation around what I do and have the confidence and persuasion to achieve my goals and get to where I am now!
