Meet Tiffany Jones | Owner :Cool Beans Coffee Stop

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
While there are lots of coffee shops in Hawaii NONE of them served local beans! By using Coffee beans from the North Shore, we reduce our carbon footprint a little, while supporting the local farmers.
I also love having the power as a small business owner to give our community! We were able to donate a portion of our sales to victims of the Lahaina wildfires. We also continue to work with kid’s out reach partners to provide fun, and yummy drinks and treats for their different events.
We started in a little corner of a small art gallery and have since committed to supporting local arts. Either with a % of or sales or offering a spread for an event. We work closely with Kumu Kahua Theatre and provide refreshments at intermission to patrons and the proceeds from that go back to the theater.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Whenever someone asks me the “what sets you apart” question, in My head I say “I dunno man, I just make shit that I like and wanna share it and hope they like it too!” 🤦♀️🤷🏻♀️ So yeah…. That! We aren’t the spot to exclusively use oat milk…. Or natural and organic ingredients. I mean.. we have oat milk but also dairy, almond & soy!
And this might be a little off script, but something that I’m most proud of is US! Jeremyah left his killer 9-5 job to focus on growing Cool Beans while I still work full time, Cool Beans it and deal with brain cancer full time. 🤦♀️😳 don’t worry about me…. I’ll be fine. Just a pain in the butt. But for real…. We aren’t letting that slow us down! Living The old “never give up on your dreams” life!!!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Yay! You’ve texted me that you just landed! So I jump in the car and head straight to 7-11 and grab a Spam Musubi, a POG and a bottle of water. I already have a lei and Honolulu Cookie Company Cookies in the car😀. I pick you up and give you your snacks. And we head back to the house…. Unpack, un wind and catch up for a bit. For dinner we grab a couple poke bowl from Foodland and go to ala moana beach park to eat and catch the sunset!
Next day breakfast at island Vintage coffee. I absolutely love their haupia moana acai bowl! Drive the Kaiwi coast over to Waimanalo beach for an Easy beach day.
Next day: breakfast and coffee at Cool Beans then off to Kualoa Ranch for the Jungle Expedition tour and Secret beach adventure after.
Next day: take it easy…. Sleep in. Brunch at easy E’s and shopping at DonQuiote for some snacks and souvenirs.
Somewhere we have to fit in Hoomaluhia botanical garden, Leonards Malasadas, Highway Inn for some local food, and ALL the shave ice from Koolau Eatz!!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Michelle Horton and the Lokahi kailua Market!!!
Michelle is the owner/director of the Lokahi Kailua Market. Without her guidance in the farmers market circuit we would be totally lost. Her motivation to start the market was to bring the community together. She inspires us to do the same. Her hard work and dedication to support small business ventures doesn’t go unnoticed and we all appreciate her.
