Meet Polina Beregova | Hypnotherapist, Astrologer & Women’s Wellness Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Polina Beregova and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Polina, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
From a young age, I always felt that more than meets the eye existed in life. I tuned into subtle energies, researched metaphysics, energy work, and various other energy interpreting modalities. I began to learn about cycles of life via Astrology, about Energy Healing through the lens of Quantum Physics, and about re-programming the mind through Hypnosis, or Hypnotherapy.
Essentially, I began to discover what we’d perhaps call “cheat codes” to life. “Cheat codes” that existed right before our eyes, and ones that many ancient civilizations utilized for hundreds of years before us.
These various teachings and modalities had such a profound impact on my healing, growth, and success. I felt a strong pull to share all that I had learned, and was learning, with the world.
This is how I began sharing online, and how my business, PBAstrology, was born.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am an Astrologer, Hypnotherapist, and Women’s Wellness Coach.
I believe that curiosity has gotten me to where I am today. “Why?” was the #1 question my mom says I would ask as a child.
I always wanted to know WHY. Whether it was a technicality, like asking why planes fly, or whether it was a deeper psychological question, aiming to understand people’s motives, actions, or desires, I always remember wanting to understand life beyond a simple answer.
This curiosity led me to study many Spiritual Spheres. From Metaphysics to Energy Work, to Western Astrology, to Breathwork, to Somatic Healing, Hypnotherapy, Hormonal Well-Being, and many more.
Having studied, and worked with, so many practices and modalities, I find that I have a unique, well-rounded, and thorough approach to healing.
When working with a client, I do a 360 analysis. I look at all lifestyle factors: sleep, nutrition, community, work, purpose, family, astrology, and more.
I believe that we are such complex, yet simple, creatures, and in order to reach our maximum potential, each sphere of our lives must be looked at, and improved, in order to reach the highest version of ourselves that exist in this lifetime.
I think that any Entrepreneur will agree that it is not always easy. Moments of doubt, fear, and worry arise. It becomes easy to compare yourself to others, to doubt yourself, or to fear that something you do or create won’t be “good enough”.
Yet, what has helped me ease these moments is to come back to my WHY. I return back to the reason I started, think of the people I am serving and the VALUE that I am able to bring. This re-aligns me with my mission, and helps me to feel supported.
I’d like the world to know that there is no “one-size-fits all” answer. We are all so different. What we value is different. How we think is different. Even what each of us believes is different.
I keep this in mind when working one-to-one with clients, teaching online courses, and leading retreats.
I aim to see each individual for who THEY are, and help them realize their potential. This helps me support them in the most harmonious way, and allows us to see rapid and impactful results.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I actually joke about offering mini “curated tours”, as being a curious LA Native for over 9 years has allowed me to explore quite a variety of cities, experiences, and services within LA.
I’d recommend breaking up your LA experience into 2-3 days.
I’d start with a Malibu day, having brunch at Malibu Cafe, going for a waterfall hike at Escondido Falls, and finishing off with a smoothie from Sunlife Organics.
Next, I’d spend the day in Venice. I’d grab lunch at Cafe Gratitude, stop by Anima Mundi for some wellness goodies, sit in their beautiful garden (maybe see if they have an event on that day/evening), and finish off at Great White Cafe for an energetic ambiance and beautiful beach sunset views.
Lastly, I’d spend the day in Palos Verdes, where the beaches are clean and pristine, and the weather is absolutely beautiful. I’d go to Rat Beach, have lunch at Terranea Resort, and then watch the sunset at Abalone Cove.
LA has so much to offer! Make sure you have enough time to soak it up!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I remember being in 7th grade, watching Youtube in the earliest of its days, and wanting to create content. I had previously seen my mom watching videos of other women sharing their love for beauty and wellness online, and it instantly created a spark. I then asked my dad for a computer, and since I could also use it for homework in high school (just a few years away), he agreed, and purchased me my first one.
A smooth and sleek, shimmery baby pink DELL laptop was awaiting me on my bed as I came home from school. I turned on the webcam, began uploading, and millions of views later, the rest was history.
My parents have always been infinitely supportive of my dreams and visions. From buying me my first laptop, to my first professional Canon camera, to flying all over the country with me as I collaborated with brands, they were my biggest cheerleaders. They allowed me to truly believe that who I wanted to be was, in fact, possible.
They instilled a sense of support, yet independence in me, that has allowed me to pivot, grow, learn, and evolve throughout my life, and they are still there to listen to each new idea and venture that I envision.
Additionally, my husband has become my #1 supporter from the day we met. From helping me plan wellness retreats, to giving me valuable feedback when it comes to marketing, to being the man behind the camera, all the way to believing in my vision to share Astrology, Wellness, and Hypnotherapy with the world at large.
I believe we are the extremely influenced by those around us, and I am lucky to have the support I do, and I hope to share this same kind of love and nourishment with my community.
