We had the good fortune of connecting with Marie Fiorin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marie, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The creation of Leni James Jewelry is the culmination of my lifelong passions and experiences. I’ve always been deeply connected to both the luxury and spiritual worlds, which at first glance, seem like separate spheres. However, for me, these two worlds always been intertwined. My career began in Milan as a fashion stylist and expanded into roles in tv and radio, where I worked with top designers and brands. But beyond the surface of fashion and luxury, I’ve always been drawn to the metaphysical, which led me to become a Certified Law of Attraction coach and an author on the topic of manifestation. Leni James is the symbiotic result of these two worlds—bringing together the refined aesthetics and quality of luxury jewelry with the profound mindfulness and energy of spiritual practice. I wanted to create a jewelry brand that is not just about adornment but about empowerment, where each piece of jewelry serves as a tangible tool for personal growth and manifestation. Because when you’re intentional about the jewelry that is in contact with your skin, your energy harmonizes with it and true magic happens.

Leni James is more than just a jewelry brand; it’s a manifestation of my journey and my belief in the power of intention. Every piece of jewelry is designed with purpose, integrating the energies of crystals and metals with the elegance of jewelry. My aim is to provide more than just beautiful accessories; I want to offer tools that can help people align with their true selves and manifest their deepest desires. Having struggled with depression, I know how important it is to feel connected and supported, and I hope Leni James can serve as that support for others. My story is one of merging the tangible with the intangible, combining luxury with spirituality, to create something that not only looks good but also feels good—both inside and out.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I am mostly plant-based and I absolutely LOVE food. Thankfully LA is an amazing place for plant-based food and my favorite vegan restaurants are Crossroads and Gracias Madre. The food is so good that you’ll love it even if you’re not plant-based and you’ll be shook! These two restaurants are definitely on the list when friends or family visit.

I’m also taking you to El Matador beach in Malibu, hiking Runyon Canyon, a chill afternoon at the Getty, outdoor concert at the Greek, sound bath at the Pendry, pizza-to-go at Heirloom Pizzeria on Melrose, and breakfast burrito at Erewhon 🙂

This shoutout is dedicated to my dear friend and incredibly talented fellow jewelry designer, Kate Ross. I’ve had the immense pleasure of working and collaborating with Kate, and to know her is to love her. Her energy is absolutely magical, and it shines through in every piece she creates.
