Meet Alexx Kesh

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexx Kesh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexx, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I grew up in a household where my parents owned their own businesses, so entrepreneurship was in my DNA. From a young age, I was always creating and selling things—whether it was inflatable translucent backpacks, lanyard keychains, or rhinestone bandanas. That early exposure to both creativity and business laid the foundation for my passion for brand-building. After studying Production Design and spending several years in the field, I found myself drawn more and more to Interior Design, which I had been doing on the side for friends and family. When I finally decided to focus fully on Interior Design, it felt like everything clicked, and I knew I was in the right place.
I’ve observed throughout my Interior Design journey that the industry often places a heavy emphasis on aesthetics alone. However, I’ve made it a priority to ensure that my designs are not only visually appealing but also highly functional. I believe that a space should be both beautiful and practical, catering to the needs and lifestyle of the client while maintaining an elegant design.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business is dedicated to delivering designs that are both visually stunning and functional. What sets us apart is our unique approach to integrating form and function, ensuring that every space we create is not only aesthetically pleasing but also enhances the client’s daily experience. I’m most excited about the way our designs make a tangible difference in people’s lives and the satisfaction of seeing our clients thrive in their newly transformed spaces.
The journey to where I am now has been challenging. Transitioning from a background in Production Design to Interior Design required significant adjustments and a steep learning curve. I tackled these challenges with determination, a willingness to learn from each experience, and a focus on building strong client relationships.
The lessons I’ve learned along the way emphasize the value of adaptability, continuous learning, and maintaining a clear vision. I want the world to know that my brand is built on a foundation of creativity and practical design solutions, driven by a passion for making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through exceptional interior design

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m an LA native and a coffee connoisseur, so we’d definitely start by exploring the best coffee spots. Being a big-time foodie, I’d also take you to some fantastic local eateries. Since I love the sun, we’d make sure to explore the beautiful outdoors as well.
Here what I would consider a perfect LA day:
Morning: Start with a visit to Blue Bottle Coffee for an exceptional coffee experience. Then, head to The Getty Villa to enjoy art and explore the stunning Mediterranean-inspired gardens.
Lunch: Enjoy a meal at Elephante, a chic spot with great food and stunning rooftop views.
Afternoon: Explore the Robertson Boulevard/Beverly Hills area where you can check out a variety of eye-catching interior design shops.
Dinner: Savor a meal at Bari, a renowned spot known for its delicious Italian cuisine.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to first thank God for opening doors and showing a clear path, guiding me to where I am today. I also want to dedicate my shoutout to my parents, who instilled in me the entrepreneurial spirit and the confidence to take risks. Their support and example have been the foundation of my journey. Additionally, I want to recognize my husband, whose love and encouragement have been unwavering, especially during the times of transition when I shifted my focus to Interior Design. His belief in my vision has been a constant source of motivation. Lastly, I owe a lot to my early clients—friends and family who trusted me with their spaces and allowed me to hone my skills. Their trust gave me the confidence to pursue Interior Design full-time.
