I’m the CEO of ‘What Nobody Tells Us’ Strategies, which I founded after nearly 15 years of living a double life: A global advertising executive by day and brain cancer caregiver by night for my husband, who in 2009 was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and given six months to live. I worked in the photography industry right out of high school, which led me to a job producing photo shoots at The Walt Disney Company. One day a dot com reached out with interest in setting up their own photo studio shooting cars. In 2018 I quit my corporate job to finally pursue my dream of owning a webshop with high heels only. I started with selling other brands. In 2019 my webshop started to thrive, but unfortunately Covid hit hard! No-one was going out any more and nobody went into the office.
