Meet Kayla Greenwade | Music Manager & Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Greenwade and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kayla, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
The reason I chose to go down this route of a creative career was I love being creative. I love the natural feeling of creating something and seeing it take a life form. As a child, I always loved art, music, and entertainment. This new endeavor that I’ve been on has been one of the most rewarding things I could do besides graduating college. My purpose is to touch lives through my passion for creativity.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
The main thing that sets me apart from anybody else who is in similar lanes as I am is my unwavering faith in my purpose in life and my determination to complete my goals. I believe in my work ethic and my ability to face any challenge that comes my way. I am so proud of my personal growth and how my business is growing organically. The journey of getting to where I am has been a thrilling curvy road. I have always loved music and the way it’s made me feel. It wasn’t until a few years ago I truly learned that I could make a career out of it. This goal of having a career in music always felt distant and unreachable. It wasn’t until my mentor challenged me and encouraged me to permit myself to bet on myself. This journey hasn’t been easy but it’s been a well worth experience. I have overcome challenges by accepting these as an opportunity to grow. I’ve learned to be more vulnerable and gracious to myself. It is okay if I don’t have all the answers or solutions. Life is about exploration. I want the world to know that anything is truly possible when you try and put yourself out there. My brand would not be here if I didn’t bet on myself to bring it to fruition.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spots in the city are in the Arts District in Los Angeles. They have amazing places like ramen, breweries, adult arcade bars, brunch spots with rooftops, and more. The best thing to check out while visiting the city is going outside the city to the beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my amazing support which has been the catalyst for forcing myself to be comfortable with being vulnerable. They have each poured into me when I had nothing left to give, They have consistently and continuously encouraged me to push forward, especially through the challenges of imposter syndrome. I would not be the woman I am today without their love and support.
