Meet Briana Roy | Actress | Model | Artist | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Briana Roy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Briana, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
From the earliest days of my childhood, creativity has danced with me, weaving a tapestry of dreams into vivid realities. Even as a young child, I was gifted with the profound clarity of knowing my own essence—capable, artistic, and brimming with imagination. At the tender age of six, I would close my eyes and envision a future where I thrived as a model, actress, artist, and entrepreneur, fueled by an unyielding passion and unwavering ambition.
Each vision was a glimpse into the life I knew could experience, a testament to the dreams I cherished deeply. Now, at 19, I look back with a heart full of gratitude and pride, realizing that my younger self was right all along. The dreams I once held close have blossomed into reality, affirming that the path I chose was not only right but destined. I can proudly tell my younger self that the grand dreams were not in vain, for they were a true reflection of the boundless potential I always knew I possessed.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It’s always a joy to talk about my work because it’s one of the greatest highlights of my life. I work in the entertainment industry as an actress and model. I started my career as a child model, doing print ads and TV commercials for brands like Target, K-mart, and Justice. At 8 years old, I booked a lead role in a movie, which was a life-changing experience and marked the beginning of my film career. Since then, I’ve continued to work in film and TV, while also modeling for various companies, doing major campaigns, and runway shows.
In 2020, I began drawing, something I had always wanted to pursue but couldn’t due to my busy schedule. Although I had to put my art on hold for modeling and acting jobs, by 2022, I started taking it seriously as a developing career. Feeling more confident, I shared my work, and people noticed my passion, leading to commissions for my artwork. Around the same time, I started my business, “Chateau Roy,” which features a hair oil I created to help people with damaged or weak hair.
In all the work I do, what sets me apart is my creativity. I’ve always been original, never influenced by others, and I carve my own path. I prefer to live in a way that may seem unconventional to others, but it’s exciting to me. I’ve learned that it’s never worth quieting yourself or minimizing your talent for the sake of others. The world needs more color, and as artists, we should always express ourselves and make our voices heard. Though the journey has had its challenges, I’m proud of knowing what I’m capable of.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, I’m up for the challenge! You’re talking to the queen of organizing an itinerary.
**Monday:** We’d start with breakfast, then head to the Getty Center for an afternoon picnic and a visit to the gallery. It’s one of my favorite places to visit in LA! After that, we’d go to the Greyson Mansion and Garden to enjoy the scenery and, of course, take some photos <3. Then, we’d visit Rodeo Drive to shop and look around.
**Tuesday:** A pretty chill day—we’d grab some pizza at Tomato Pie in Silver Lake, and while we’re waiting, we could stop by the local art store next door to pick up a few supplies. Then we’d head to Barnsdall Park for the views and shop around Silver Lake.
**Wednesday:** Since my friends love books as much as I do, we’d visit Burlington Arcade in Pasadena. On the way back, we’d grab In-N-Out and do a little more shopping.
**Thursday:** Craving something sweet, we’d go to my favorite shop, California Donuts, to try a few flavors. Then we’d head to K-Town for dinner at Butnal. Afterward, we’d have fun with karaoke at Pharaoh!
**Friday:** For a fun night out, we’d stop by Los Globos in Silver Lake and dance until our feet hurt <3.
**Saturday:** A cozy movie night at the Greek Theatre drive-in, followed by ice cream afterward.
**Sunday:** We’d start the day at the SilverLake Flea Market to grab some goodies, then have lunch at Pine & Crane. To finish off the week, we’d relax at the Silverlake pool, enjoying the rooftop view and cooling down with a splash.
Andddd that covers a fun and exciting week, if I do say so myself 😉

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I always want to express my gratitude to the women in my life who have shown me how to lead. They’ve taught me to care about things that may seem insignificant to some but are deeply cherished by others. These women have inspired me to dream big and live with passion and ambition, turning those dreams into reality.
I would like to give the greatest recognition to one woman in particular who truly deserves it—my mother, Marie Danielle Pradel Roy. She has taught me how to be confident, assertive, and a boss—not just in my career but also in how I lead my life. Her example has shown me how to be strong while remaining caring, resilient, and humble. She’s my inspiration as a woman, mother, and best friend.
And, of course, shoutout to my dad—I wouldn’t want him to get jealous! Love you both!
