Meet Chloe Y

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Y and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chloe, what’s something about your industry that outsiders are probably unaware of?
Many people assume that working with balloons is easy and inexpensive. However, anyone who has tried it themselves knows that creating a beautiful balloon garland requires time and skill. While it may look you can complete it in just 30 minutes on YouTube, the final result often doesn’t compare to what a professional balloon artist can achieve, and your fingers will likely be sore afterward.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business specializes in creating unique balloon decorations at an affordable price.. What sets us apart is our focus on serving regular clients and referrals, while new clients are welcomed based on availability
I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built with our clients and the referrals we’ve received over the years that keep us motivated. One particular customer holds a special place in my heart; she was my first client who recommended us to her event planner for all her events. Because of her support, we not only provide balloons for her but also for the planner’s clients, which has greatly expanded our reach. Thank you Danielle!
My journey began over 15 years ago as a side hustle before my friend and I decided to turn it into a business. It hasn’t always been easy; I’ve faced challenges such as managing a freelance team, balancing schedules, and juggling family responsibilities.
Along the way, I’ve learned that some clients are simply impossible to please, no matter how much effort you put in. I’ve had to learn to let go of those customers and focus on welcoming clients who truly appreciate my work.
What I want the world to know is that our brand is not just about balloons; it’s about creating memorable experiences. We pour our hearts into every project, ensuring that our clients receive not just a service, but a meaningful piece that enhances their special moments. I hope that the next time our customers see balloons, they’ll be reminded of these special moments in their lives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d want to make it an unforgettable trip! I would bring her to
– fruits picking
– a hike to the Hollywood sign
– beach
– bakery (LA Chouquette, Artelice, Valerie Confections)
– Pizza at Pizzeria Bianco
– sushi at Hayato
– Yakitori at Suehiro
– Wine tasting in Temecula

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
