Since COVID (and the lockdown) happened, I’ve worked almost entirely from home. It’s given me a lot of perspective on work-life balance while raising young children. While they’re still in their formative years, it’s important to be as present as possible. I encouraged autonomy without being disrespectful and to believe that if they operated with integrity then decisions and boundaries would automatically fall into place.
