Meet Chris Summers | TapTruck661 Mobile Beverage Caterer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Summers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Appreciate the question, so we wouldn’t fit the traditional mold when it comes to a huge community social impact when you first hear about us. Being a mobile beverage catering company that focuses on bringing the party and a long lasting impression isn’t the first thing that rings community. But on the other hand it brings people together, for special events. That’s what community is to us, so we focused on how we could give back, reaching out to non profits and special event planners. That’s where we found a great community of locals who enjoy giving back! And started donating our service to help raise funds for each of their special causes!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is a mobile beverage catering company that specializes in unforgettable experiences and lasting memories. We provide our service through taps right out of the side of a vintage truck! Like any business it takes a lot of grinding things out, figuring things out along the way. Wasn’t easy but worth every bit! One lesson I’ve learned is if you truly want something, the entire world can tell you it’s a bad idea, but it’s upto you to prove otherwise and see things to the finish line! Something I would like the world to know about my brand, is that we do charitable events to help give back in anyway we can! So please reach out!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were to show someone some of my favorite things to do, it would most definitely involve sports! So we would start with an LA Kings game, stopping in LA Live for Katsuya Sushi (10/10)! The following day would involve baseball, so a trip to dodger stadium and see our World Series champs! Having to sample all the treats the stadium has to offer! Another special something I would show my guests visiting would be a comedy show in Hollywood, in hopes of catching Bert Kreischer, or Adam Ray, or even Tommy Buns himself Tom Segura! Lastly would be a trip to the beach, we truly have it all in Southern California! Oh and I didn’t forget a trip to Disneyland with a day dedicated to Down Town Disney!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Recognizing my success would have to give a huge shoutout to my family. My Chelsea, my son Masen, my mother Susan, my brother Johnny, and my father Mel. More specifically my father, this amazing man showed me what hard work, dedication, and commitment to difficult things, bring the greatest outcomes. He taught me, how to fully restore a vintage vehicle from the ground up, every nut and bolt, how to rework damaged metal and paint, to bring life back into classic cars and trucks. Without him and his dedication, I wouldn’t be anywhere in life.
