Meet Ashley Cummings | Yoga Teacher/ Business Owner/ Filmmaker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Cummings and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashley, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Yes, my favorite quote is by Marcus Aurelius and states that “What We Do In Life, Echoes In Eternity”. Written by Marcus Aurelius on his “Meditations”.
This quote reminds me that our actions, decisions and choices have lasting consequences. As well that we should be mindful of our actions, and aware how others are affected by them, not just in this life, but in lives that proceed us. It reminds me to be present and intentional in my daily life; I consider how my actions may “echo for eternity”. This quote for me, highlights the importance of personal responsibility and considering how our actions may echo for eternity. The idea of legacy is important to me, how our legacies leave a lasting impact on future generations. Aside from ripples in life that we create that are visible and tangible, I personally love this quote and how it considers the actions we take that no one saw or heard about, I have often said to myself, God Saw It”.
The intersections of Integrity and legacy is important to me, being guided by principle and intuition that often involve “unseen actions” that I do feel “echo for eternity”. Authenticity and consistency in all of our affairs are directly related to Integrity and ultimately our Legacy. Also, adopting a growth mindset, or a mindset of abundance is imperative, work daily towards this end.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started my 18-year long journey into the world of Yoga and Wellness in 2006. From 2006 to present, 2025, I have opened and closed two Yoga Schools, been primary caretaker for both of my parents who have now passed and experienced so much LIFE. Currently I am pivoting my attention towards other and new creative endeavors that deeply excite me. I truly believe almost everything worth it in life does not come easy, and what comes easy is usually not worth much, nothing was easy; but everything was worth it, I want people to know that you can change your perspective, opinion or mind at any time.
