Meet Gally

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gally and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gally, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’ve always been a creative person. Growing up, I was constantly involved in artistic activities—whether it was entering the school art shows or being a part of the school plays. In fact, my last role in a play was as Captain Hook, which was a fun and memorable experience. I always had an active imagination, and that creative energy was a huge part of who I was.
However, as I got older and college became more of a focus, I found myself shifting toward more ‘practical’ career paths, like accounting or biology. These fields were financially stable, but they didn’t allow me to tap into my creative side, and I realized how much that stifled me. It made it difficult for me to stay motivated in school, which is actually why it took me five years to graduate—I just wasn’t passionate about the subjects I was studying.
In fact, my older sister and father both work at Toyota, and for a while, I considered following a similar path to pay off my student loans. The idea of stability and a steady paycheck was tempting, especially when I felt the pressure of my financial obligations. But deep down, I knew that if I went down that road, I would have lost a part of who I truly was. I realized that I couldn’t let my creative spirit fade just to fit into a mold that didn’t feel right for me.
It wasn’t until after college, when I moved to LA, that I rediscovered my creativity. I started creating content, and for the first time in years, I felt truly alive and inspired. Acting and storytelling became my passion again. I realized that my life had felt dull without that creative outlet, and once I began creating content and telling stories through acting, I knew I had found my true calling. It was like my creative mind had woken up, and everything started to fall into place.
Now, I’m able to fully embrace that creativity every day, and it’s what drives me in my career. I’m so grateful to have found my way back to it, and I’m excited for where it’ll take me.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is all about authenticity, creativity, and storytelling. I’ve always believed in the power of self-expression, whether that’s through acting, content creation, or any other medium I explore. What sets me apart from others is my passion for diving into deep, meaningful stories that resonate with people on a personal level. It’s not just about performing or creating something for the sake of it—it’s about truly connecting with others and evoking emotions that matter.
What I’m most proud of is how I’ve managed to stay true to myself while navigating through a lot of external pressures. I could have easily followed a more conventional career path, like my family did, to secure financial stability. I almost went down that road, but I realized that doing so would have meant sacrificing my creative spirit. My biggest achievement has been reclaiming that creativity and using it to fuel my work. I’m also incredibly proud of finding a group of people who support my goals and inspire me daily. Their encouragement, along with stepping out of my comfort zone to move to LA and put myself out there, has been a key part of my growth. The content I create and the roles I take on are all expressions of who I am, and I’m proud that I’ve built a platform that’s true to that.
My journey to where I am today wasn’t easy. After college, I found myself lost and disconnected from my creative self. It wasn’t until I moved to LA and took a chance on content creation that I started to reignite the spark. There were plenty of ups and downs—times when I doubted myself, struggled with consistency, and faced rejection—but each challenge taught me valuable lessons. The most important lesson I’ve learned is the power of persistence. There were many moments when I could have given up, but I chose to keep going, even if it meant starting from scratch. Overcoming self-doubt and embracing failure as part of the process has been crucial to my growth.
Today, I’m excited about the work I’m creating—whether it’s acting, producing content, or telling stories in new and innovative ways. I want the world to know that my brand is about authenticity and following your passion, no matter how difficult the road may seem. I want my journey to serve as a reminder that creativity isn’t just something you do; it’s who you are. The world needs your unique voice, and sometimes, the hardest part is just taking that first step towards it.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day 1: Welcome to LA – The Best Start to Your LA Adventure! • Breakfast: Start the day off right at Hanks Bagels, hands down the best bagels in town. We’ll grab a couple to-go and catch up over a perfect breakfast.
• Morning: Head to Warner Brothers Studio Tour to experience the magic of Hollywood. You’ll get to see the iconic sets and learn about the history behind some of your favorite movies and shows. It’s so fun to walk where the magic happens!
• Lunch: After the tour, we’ll grab a bite at Beachwood Café. Trust me, you have to try their Cubano sandwich—it’s hands down the best I’ve ever had. Oh, and don’t forget a matcha latte to go with it!
• Evening: We’ll wrap up the day with a sunset at Griffith Observatory. The views of the city are spectacular, and it’s the perfect spot to watch the sun dip below the skyline.
Day 2: Classic LA Vibes
• Morning: Start with a chill morning and walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It’s always fun to check out the stars on the sidewalk, and who knows? We might even get lucky enough to see a live movie premiere or celebrity sighting!
• Lunch: After all that walking, we’ll refuel with some iconic comfort food at Bob’s Big Boy—definitely a late-night favorite. Their shakes are a must, and we can’t leave without visiting the famous Bob’s Big Boy statue!
• Afternoon: Let’s hit up the Santa Monica Boardwalk for some fun by the beach. We can take a stroll along the pier, people-watch, and maybe grab some ice cream or play a few games in the arcade.
• Dinner: Head to Ike’s Sandwiches in downtown Burbank for some seriously tasty sandwiches. After that, we can walk over to AMC 16 for a movie to cap off a perfect day.
Day 3: LA Eats & Chill Time
• Morning: We’ll start our morning with a stop at Porto’s for some of the best pastries you’ll ever taste. Whether you’re in the mood for sweet or savory, Porto’s has it all!
• Lunch: Let’s grab a bite at a local spot we love, or maybe explore a new hidden gem nearby.
• Evening: The evening will be all about relaxing with good company—board game night at my place with my closest friends. A laid-back night of laughs, snacks, and a little friendly competition is the perfect way to wind down.
Day 4: Free Day for Exploration & Fun
• You’re free to explore at your own pace, but I’d suggest checking out some local hotspots like Venice Beach or The Getty for some art and culture. Or if you’re feeling adventurous, a hike up to Runyon Canyon gives you a great view of LA and is the perfect way to stretch your legs after all the eating and sightseeing.
Day 5-7: Wrapping up the Trip with the LA Experience
• For the last part of the trip, I’d recommend diving into some of the more unique LA experiences, like visiting the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) or checking out The Broad for contemporary art.
• We’ll finish it off with a sunset drink at a rooftop bar, like Perch or The Standard, to soak in the city views one last time before your trip ends.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d also like to give a huge shoutout to my boyfriend, Gabe. He’s been such a crucial part of my journey, especially when it comes to reigniting my creative flame. Gabe has this incredible way of helping me reconnect with my inner child, reminding me to have fun and embrace the joy of creating without worrying about perfection. His encouragement and support have given me the confidence to dive into my passions again, and I’m so grateful to have him by my side as I continue to grow both personally and professionally.
