We had the good fortune of connecting with Tabitha Mazzarella and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tabitha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always had a deep passion for the beauty industry and a dream of being my own boss. When covid hit, it became the catalyst that pushed me to turn that dream into reality.

What should our readers know about your business?
It was far from easy. This reality took 10 years of dreaming, saving, and unwavering patience to achieve. I dedicated myself to learning the craft, honing my skills, and gaining experience by working under others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d take my friend to spend most of our time at the beach. Since I have a 7-year-old son, I’d want to plan something that includes him in our activities. I’d definitely consider visiting some major touristic landmarks such as the Griffith Observatory and Disneyland.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A huge shoutout to Evelyn Avila, who has been the creative force behind all of our social media since I opened my very first salon in DTLB. Her hard work and vision has helped bring my brand to life and connect with our amazing community. I’m beyond grateful for my incredible staff, whose talent and dedication have been essential in turning my dream into a reality. To my loyal clients, thank you for your support and trust-its because of you that we’re here today. And lastly, I’m proud of myself for taking the leap and following my passion. Together, we’ve built something truly special!
