Hi 2LM, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Music brought us together, and for years, we’ve been collaborating on music projects, art, and ideas. It’s been our passion from the start, and after more than a decade of knowing each other, we took the leap to turn it into a business.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are DJs and producers based in Los Angeles, California, with a diverse musical background spanning freestyle, hip-hop, and EDM. In early 2024, we launched B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Beats)—a project designed to push producers out of their comfort zones. The challenge? Create an EDM track using samples from one cassette, one CD, and one vinyl. Each track is then shared on social media for the world to experience.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re working on collaborations with The Connect, Skonka, Awsumo, and Sage Armstrong, bringing fresh energy to the scene.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Theres amazing artists we collaborate with such as TheConnect, Skonka, Sage Armstrong, Tiedye, Magnibebe and Desamor. There is also amazing event curators Like Novacane, Ivarr, Koke, Bingewatch and Seekone. And we cant forget the people throwing down at djing like Awsumo, Nano The DJ, Shroomi, Cat & Maomi, and Sabrasura Boyz.
