Meet Carolina Antonyan | Wedding Designer & Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Carolina Antonyan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carolina, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because creativity has always been the foundation of who I am. From a young age, I was drawn to the beauty of storytelling through design, color, and atmosphere. I pursued a career as a wedding planner and designer because it allows me to blend my eye for design with emotion, crafting unique experiences that are not only visually stunning but deeply meaningful. There’s something magical about taking a couple’s vision and transforming it into a reality that feels uniquely theirs. For me, creativity isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about connection, celebration, and bringing once-in-a-lifetime moments to life.
My background in interior design has further shaped my approach to wedding planning, reinforcing my deep appreciation for balance, harmony, and attention to detail—elements that are just as essential in wedding design. But beyond aesthetics, my work is about storytelling. Every wedding is a reflection of a couple’s journey, and my goal is to curate an experience that feels deeply personal, immersive, and unforgettable. It’s about crafting moments that don’t just look beautiful but feel meaningful, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who steps into the space.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart is my ability to truly understand and translate my clients’ visions into something extraordinary. My journey into wedding planning wasn’t conventional—it was organic, built on trust, creativity, and a deep attention to detail. About three years ago, a past client, whose salon grand opening I had designed, reached out to me for her wedding. At the time, I wasn’t in the wedding planning industry, but she believed in my ability to bring her dream to life. That trust led me to take on the challenge, and without even realizing it, I was stepping into what would become my true calling.
That wedding became the foundation of my business. It introduced me to an incredible network of vendors who aligned with my vision, and once the event was shared on social media, everything took off. The demand grew almost instantly, and from there, I built a brand rooted in thoughtful design, seamless execution, and a highly curated experience for my clients.
Unlike many entrepreneurs, my transition into this industry felt natural and effortless, but that’s because I was unknowingly preparing for it long before I started. My background in management and budgeting, through my other business, gave me the skills to run the operations smoothly, while my passion for design and hosting had been ingrained in me since childhood.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that success often finds you when you are aligned with your purpose. I never forced this path—it found me through passion, trust, and a willingness to deliver beyond expectations. What I want the world to know about my brand is that every wedding I design is more than just an event—it’s an experience, a story, and a reflection of the love that brought two people together. My goal is always to create something meaningful, timeless, and unforgettable.

This itinerary mixes the best of LA—beach escapes, incredible food, wellness, live music, and a touch of luxury. Whether it’s sipping cocktails at a jazz club, hiking the city’s iconic trails, or unwinding at a sauna, it’s all about balance, fun, and unforgettable moments.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe so much of my passion and creative journey to my family and the culture I grew up in. Hosting was more than just an occasional event—it was a way of life. Every week, our home was transformed with beautifully designed tablescapes, intentional details, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I watched as my family put so much love into every gathering, ensuring that each guest felt special and that every celebration had meaning.
That experience shaped the way I see design and hospitality today. It taught me that creating an ambiance isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about evoking emotions, making people feel seen, and curating moments that bring people together. My family’s dedication to thoughtful hosting was my first true inspiration, and it continues to influence the way I approach wedding planning and design. In many ways, I feel like I’m carrying on a tradition, just on a larger scale, helping couples create experiences that are not only visually stunning but also rich in meaning and connection.
