Meet Logan Austin | Actor | Writer | Model | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Logan Austin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Logan, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I feel that the best habits that have helped me succeed are trusting my gut, not choosing to live in fear and confronting each and every single one of my problems with a flexible yet methodical approach. I’ve learned that not any single person is exactly the same inside and out. The ability to understand one another is something that almost seems foreign on a deeper level to most. I don’t know maybe I’ve been living under a rock for too long but most of life seems pretty surface level in the city unfortunately. However for what I am searching for in life I need to be here. I will find what I am looking for.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I think I kind of expanded on the deepest level I can possible psychologically for my art at this point. I have found a lot of deep self exploration within a lot of what Carl Jung has taught, Inner Child Healing, Reparenting and personality development. People may think it’s soft or stupid but there is A LOT to be put into words that I don’t have right now. There are things we’re not always aware of in life about ourselves and if we do not become more in touch with them then I fear for the worst in humanity. I believe we are capable of much more than we contemplate on an average level. Luckily we can always keep growing and take each day at a time. Once this stuff becomes more common I think it will be easier for most people to see how they can integrate self exploration on a professional level into the arts and acting as an entirely new horizon for human potential and most of all: healthy sense of self, healthier relationships and healthier choices overall. Luckily I got to do a Virtual Expo, work on set for a film, make new connections, start modeling for a company called Cocoburry and just finished a commercial for a company called SideSleeperZ®. You could say I’m pretty proud of those achievements. Unfortunately I still don’t have any representation and I’m trying to be a part of SAG! I have a lot of stuff on hold that I want to bring to directors and producers attention but no one has really come to me. I keep reaching out to people but I don’t know what the deal is. I REALLY want to work with Sande Alessi Hartigan Casting again and get in touch with James Gunn and his team. Could be a long shot but I see potential on the horizon with these next few years to come. As for where I got today it ISN’T EASY period. I think things will cool off though soon. I’m certain I should be catching a break at some point. I just need to keep working hard and stay focused. Since last time I checked in I moved another 10 times so it’s been 30 times in total. I’m done. I want to find a home already. I’ve had to overcome challenges by remembering my why deep down and as cheesy as it sounds love is the most important thing to me. They said God is Love and I guess that makes sense. I don’t know what else to say. I’ve learned that if you know who you are then a lot of life becomes much simpler and not necessarily care free but I have honed a sense of fearlessness. Faith is my word of the year for 2025. Whether you’re religious or secular faith can be used as a tool for humankind. The most immediate and important thing that I want people to know about me right now is that I’ve been homeless for just over 9 months now. I SERIOUSLY need something, anything, just something to get me off the streets and into a home for good. No more sleeping in the streets.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would have to say Pasadena hands down. It is the most adorable and beautiful small town vibe for sure. It reminds me of San Luis Obispo a lot. It’s kind of like a second home here I don’t know. A good friend of mine Chris is from Alta Dena and he grew up in the area I think. If I were to go for a week long trip though I would probably hit up the mountains and sleep in a log cabin. I’ve always wanted to do that in the snow. That and listen to Bon Iver with the fireplace. Seems magical. Sushi and ramen are always good. Old town Pasadena has a lot of good places to go too. Hiking is always a good go to if you’re in the mood, the pier in Santa Monica, a couple bars downtown like Seven Grand and Casey’s, there’s a pool at a rec center in Eagle Rock, the malls and bowling alleys look fun too around LA.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
You know usually I would pour out a large list of names of friends, family and inspirations like leaders or role models but as of lately in life I have been the one to carry most of my success upon my own shoulders. Yes I have had help along the way, I won’t negate that but I’ve been through the ringer in the past couple of years and I have had to be the one who consistently pushes through time and time again. Most of my work, skills and education is self taught right now. I still have things to learn and I will remain grateful for what help I can receive from what friends, family and inspiration I do have.
