My favorite quote is, “love where you are and grow from there.” This quote a lot to me because coming from an athletic background you’re constantly in a grind mindset. You achieve one goal then it’s onto the next. You reach the top of the mountain and then you just create another mountain on top of that. You stay in go mode. I can contribute a lot of my success in athletics just due to the fear of feeling like someone else is working harder than me. Read More>>

My favorite affirmation is “ABC: Always Be Celebrating.” It has become a life motto for me and I try to instill it in my clients as much as possible. I especially love celebrating any time I take an action that aligns with my values or goals. It makes the action instantly rewarding, which helps me build positive habits, and it activates my positive self-talk, which ups my overall self-esteem. Read More>>

Theatre makes me happy. It’s always made me happy because it’s been the reason I’ve kept living. I’ve been doing theatre since I was 7 years old. The stage was a place where I was able to have fun and simply be free. At 30 years old, pursuing my Bachelors in Theatre Arts (minoring in Africana Studies) has been so fufilling. It’s had it’s challenges and as an actor I expect that. But this has truly been my outlet and life force to advocate for social change. I’m very picky when it comes to shows that I’m in. Read More>>

I want to make art that is satisfying to me. I only produce art that I would be happy wear as a shirt or hang on my own wall. My day job is as a Graphic Designer and a User Interface Designer and so I done plenty of designing over the span of 15 years that I myself didn’t like and wasn’t proud of — thats the nature of commercial art; you give to the client what they ask even when it contradicts what you feel is the right solution. When I was in my mid to late 20s, I had no concept of balance. I lived in extremes – it was all about acting and performing, and being the absolute best in every audition, at every shoot, and in acting class. I only cared about my career and how I looked and how much money I made. Life was quite surface level. It was only after covid and almost losing my loved ones, and being forced to slow down, and spend time with family, and my dog, that I developed a deep sense of empathy, kindness, compassion and started enjoying the simpler things in life.
