Meet Bri Seeley

Today we’re excited to be connecting with Bri Seeley again. If you haven’t already, we suggest you check out our prior conversation with them here.
Bri, thanks for joining us again. Just to level set a bit for folks who may have missed our last interview together, can you briefly introduce yourself?
As a Success & Entrepreneur Coach, I specialize in helping ambitious individuals defy reality and turn their boldest dreams into tangible success. My work is rooted in the belief that limits are illusions, and with the right mindset, strategy, and execution, anything is possible. Through personalized coaching, transformational programs, and high-impact mentorship, I’ve guided countless entrepreneurs, executives, and visionaries to break through barriers and achieve extraordinary results. What sets me apart is my unique blend of mindset mastery, strategic business acumen, and a deep understanding of human potential—enhanced by my studies in neuroscience, subconscious reprogramming, and my work as a certified hypnotherapist. By leveraging the power of the mind at both the conscious and subconscious levels, I help my clients create lasting transformations that go beyond business success and into every aspect of their lives.
I’m a best-selling author of ‘Permission to Leap: The Six-Phase Journey to Bring Your Vision to Life’ and TEDx Speaker of ‘From Wages to Wealth: The Future of the Female Workforce.’ Throughout my journey, I’ve been honored to receive countless awards such as Entrepreneur of the Year, Business Woman of the Year, Coach of the Year and The LA Mayor’s Office Small Business of The Year. I’ve also been featured in outlets such as Women’s Health, The TODAY Show, Good Morning America and more.

Great, so let’s jump into an update on what you have been up to since we last spoke. What can you share with us?
The last few years have been wild! I unexpectedly landed in Tulsa, Oklahoma of all places – and I’m still here four years later. It started when I moved into my parents’ Airbnb during Covid (like many of us scrambling to figure things out), and then I stumbled across this grant program that would actually pay me to relocate to Tulsa. I thought, “Why not? I can live anywhere for a year,” and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made. Not because Tulsa is the city of my dreams, but the lifestyle here is a slower pace that allows me time to ground and center myself in the midst of the craziness of business.
My coaching business has grown in ways I never expected. I’ve had clients who’ve completely blown my mind – particularly a client of mine who went from $100,000 in debt to her first 7-figure year, another client who has made her average annual revenue her average quarterly revenue, another client who is approaching her first 6-figure year from flow and ease rather than hustle and grind, and more. My clients continuously leave me in awe. Getting to give a TEDx Talk about the future of the female workforce was surreal – especially since I almost didn’t make it on stage. The day prior to my talk, I started experiencing significant cramping every time I ate and couldn’t get my mind to focus on my talk because of the pain. The night before my talk, my family was terrified of me bombing after watching the worst dress rehearsal possible. But the next morning, I got up and did digestive yoga, refrained from eating anything and made it to the stage where I delivered my talk perfectly.
And then there’s the plot twist that changed everything: meeting my husband while traveling in September 2021. We got married last year in October, and now our home is this joyful chaos of a husky and kitten trying to figure out how to be siblings. We’ve spent the last few years exploring random small towns across the Midwest, finding the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants that can cater to my gluten-free and his lactose-free restrictions, and the time we got stuck in New York City due to high winds, became instantaneous Mets fans and almost got jumped.

Alright, so let’s do something a bit more fast-paced and lighthearted. We call this our lightning round and we’ll ask you a few quick questions.
Favorite Movie: Empire Records
Favorite Book: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Favorite TV Show: Righteous Gemstones
Favorite Band or Artist: Rhye
Sweet or Savory: Savory – I’m allergic to sugar!
Mountains or Beach: I like the idea of the beach… but my skin is so fair that I turn into a lobster. For safety sake, I’ll say mountains.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up: I wanted to be a lawyer! While I am still very good at arguing… I’m glad I didn’t commit to the lifestyle of law.
Favorite Cartoon growing up: Duck Tales
Favorite Breakfast Food: All of them! If I could eat breakfast for every meal of the day… I would. This egg shortage is killing me.
Life is often about tough choices – can you talk to us about your thought process, strategy or philosophy when it comes to making difficult choices or tradeoffs.
You know how we often get stuck going back and forth on tough decisions, weighing all the pros and cons until we’re completely overwhelmed? I found a short-cut to eliminate these unnecessary mental gymnastics: I imagine my future self and let her make the call.
Here’s what I mean – last year, I was torn about whether to take on a high-paying client that didn’t quite align with my values. Instead of endless pro-con lists, I asked myself, “What would the version of me who’s already running her dream business do?” That future me wouldn’t compromise her values for a quick win. She’d focus on working with clients who truly resonated with her mission. Making the decision from that perspective made it crystal clear – I turned down the opportunity, and within weeks, two ideal clients found their way to me.
It’s like trying to solve a maze – when you’re in the middle of it, all you see are walls. But if you could float above it and look down, suddenly the path becomes obvious. That’s what happens when we step out of our current mindset and into our future self’s perspective. The choices that seemed impossible often become surprisingly clear.
This approach has never steered me wrong. Whether it’s business decisions, relationships, or even small daily choices, I always ask, “What would my future self thank me for?” She’s usually got a pretty good handle on things so I call on her often!
