We had the good fortune of connecting with Alan Bran and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alan, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Having a platform where the people from my community can share create and build music at a higher caliber than the norm or obvious way most have been doing so. Showing those that using people around you can help them create something unique and inspiring.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m am an Audio Engineer. Recording mixing and mastering. What sets me apart from most is my goal is to create whatever the artist wants into reality. Usually it starts with an idea and turns into something bigger than the first idea. The way I got to where I’m at is really never quitting especially when times were difficult. The only thing I’d like the world to know is to never give up and just trust in your abilities and passion.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely some bars in the neighborhood! Highland park !! Graffiti show in the Art District. Catch a show at the Echoplex! Finish it off with the taco truck. Some of the most interesting people are in the cut meeting folks in art shows and music shows.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Those close to me, my friends my mother and the artist who have stuck with me thru thick and thin. I work best when I have a built relationship with those who trust me with their art and vision. A special thanks to Josef Leimberg for always sharing his knowledge and wisdom. Always caring about the art and its purpose.
