We had the good fortune of connecting with Maddi Kligerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maddi, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

I try to live by the belief that we’re here to create our own version of heaven on earth. For me, that meant building something intentional—rooted in individuality, connection, and emotion. I started Remeinz to merge everything I love: storytelling, design, subculture, and feeling. Jewelry became the medium, but the message was always deeper—to remind people of their power, their originality, and their ability to choose love in every form.

The name Remeinz—pronounced remains—comes from the idea that we’re all connected by invisible cords, and that the one unbreakable thread between us is love. No matter what shifts or ends, only love remains. That truth is the anchor beneath the brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I feel like my career is still unfolding, but Remeinz has become the container for everything that’s shaped me up to this point. There wasn’t a formal business plan when I started—just a deep desire to create something I loved so much that it would always give me a sense of purpose, even when things felt hard. That’s still how I feel about Remeinz. It’s where I pour the most honest parts of myself—emotional, artistic, intuitive—and give them space to take form.

Jewelry has become the most intimate medium—something that lives on the body, holds memory, and becomes a quiet extension of who you are. I’m not drawn to trends; I’m drawn to the idea that a piece can carry a feeling, that it can make someone feel more powerful just by wearing it.

Remeinz is the meeting point of emotion, art, and personal power. What sets my work apart is that it’s emotion-first. Every design is created with intention—not just for how it looks, but for how it makes you feel. I focus on individuality, but also on timelessness. I design with gender neutrality in mind because I want Remeinz to be shared between lovers, passed between friends, and to exist as a space where any gender can find something that resonates.

Getting here has been both creative and deeply personal. I’ve had to unlearn scarcity, release the fear of being too emotional or unconventional, and trust that leading with heart is enough. I’ve also learned the importance of community—building it, showing up for it, and creating from a place of reciprocity. That’s why Remeinz shoots feature real creators over traditional models. It’s about celebrating people who are boldly carving their own paths.

Remeinz is still evolving, but at its core, it’s about honoring the truth that two things can exist at once—merging edge with meaning—and creating pieces that remind you who you are, who you’re becoming, and that beauty can hold both.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Silverlake is one of my happiest places. I moved here from New York for the walkability, the creative energy, and the year-round good weather. I’m not a big itinerary girl, so I’d take them on a relaxed tour of my favorite spots—starting with my go-to coffee shops. Intelligentsia is a staple for a reason, great outdoor seating, café culture, and casual run-ins with friends that make the neighborhood feel like home.

We’d walk the Reservoir or hike Griffith Park, spend an afternoon at the Silverlake Pool & Inn, and wind down with natural wine and small bites at Secco—my favorite local wine bar. For a more classic LA moment, we’d do dinner at Sunset Tower or drinks at Chateau Marmont. I also love hiking Los Liones and jumping in the ocean after.

It’s that blend of laid-back neighborhood energy and cinematic LA moments that makes this place feel like home.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

There are so many people I could name because I truly feel lucky to be surrounded by so many friends who inspire me—but the quiet foundation behind everything I do has been my family. My parents and brothers have shown me what unconditional love truly means. My parents never asked me to follow a certain path—they encouraged me to find what felt true. And my three brothers have always made me feel deeply valued and protected. That kind of love is rare, and it’s been the grounding force that’s helped me become the woman I’m still growing into.

I’d also love to honor The Sophia Code, a spiritual text I don’t often talk about publicly because it feels so intimate and personal. But it’s been a powerful guide for me. It holds wisdom about creation, sovereignty, and the divine feminine, and I return to it when I need to reconnect with my heart. It’s helped me lead from a place of softness, strength, and deep intention.
