We had the good fortune of connecting with Maya Andreeva and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Maya, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I’ve always wanted to help people live healthier, happier lives—but for years, I didn’t know how. I secretly wished for a “superpower” that would let me ease people’s pain, but I was also afraid to step into the unknown.
That changed after my Kundalini Yoga training helped me heal from depression. I started teaching, then in 2020 when the world shut down I started offering sound baths at the beach.
At the end of that year, I was introduced to plant medicine. That’s when everything changed.
During a ceremony, I began to channel an ancient healing modality called Juta. It’s a powerful form of energy healing that works with high-frequency divine light to move and rearrange energy in and around the body. It helps release energetic blockages that may have already manifested as physical pain—often resulting in that pain disappearing. It also supports people in releasing emotional and mental patterns rooted in trauma, fear, or limiting beliefs, creating space for freedom, clarity, and transformation. Many experience deep spiritual connection during a session—whether with their higher self, their guides, ancestors, or loved ones in spirit.
From that day forward, I dedicated myself to this path. The “superpower” I had prayed for had found me—and I received it with humility and gratitude. For the past five years, I’ve worked with hundreds of people, both one-on-one and in groups, and it has been an extraordinary gift to witness the healing, breakthroughs, and transformation they experience through this work.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is centered around deep energetic healing and soul remembrance. I guide people back to themselves by helping them clear the energetic, emotional, and mental blocks that keep them stuck in pain, trauma, or limiting patterns. I do this through a modality called Juta, a form of high-frequency light healing that I began channeling after a powerful experience with plant medicine. This work helps people release what no longer serves them—whether it’s physical pain, emotional wounds, ancestral trauma, or fear—and reconnect with their own divine guidance and truth.

What sets this work apart is that it’s not something I learned—it’s something that was given to me, something I surrendered to. Juta is alive. It’s intelligent, loving, and deeply transformative. Each session is different because it responds to the soul of the person receiving it. I simply serve as the vessel.

Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve walked through depression, fear, loneliness, and self-doubt. I had no roadmap for this kind of work—I wasn’t sure anyone would understand it, let alone trust it. I had to face my own fears of being “too much,” “too weird,” or “not enough.” But I kept following the breadcrumbs the Universe left for me. Every challenge brought me closer to myself, and to the truth that healing is possible for everyone.

I’m most proud of the courage it took to trust the unknown and step into this path fully. I’m proud of every person who’s allowed me to witness their healing, every heart that’s opened, every tear released, every breakthrough born in stillness.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and this work, it’s that healing is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about remembering who you are. It’s about coming home to your wholeness, your power, and your light. And I’m here to help you do that, one breath, one moment, one session at a time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d give them a soul-nourishing taste of Los Angeles. We’d start with a sound bath—ideally mine, or from a trusted healer—and if it’s a full moon, they’d join my monthly full moon circle.
We’d grab drinks at Anima Mundi on Rose Ave, lunch at Cafe Gratitude, and dinner at Uovo in Marina del Rey—followed by the best gelato at Bacio di Latte. We’d dance at Ecstatic Dance on Venice Beach, go salsa dancing at The Victorian, and we’d wander Abbot Kinney for shopping, art, and matcha.
I’d take them to El Matador Beach, with a stop at the Getty Villa on the way, and take in the views from the Observatory and the Hollywood sign.
One day we’d escape to Ojai—visit the farmer’s market, explore the sweet shops, and connect with the peaceful energy of that magical valley.
I know they’ll have their own touristy wishlist—and knowing LA traffic, we’ll just have to see how much we can squeeze in!
A perfect blend of healing, joy, and a little adventure.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many souls who have shaped my path, and I carry deep gratitude for each of them.
First, I want to acknowledge my Kundalini Yoga teacher Siri Marka. His presence, wisdom, and humor reminded me that healing doesn’t have to be heavy—it can be joyful, soulful, and even silly at times. That training was a turning point for me, and he was a big part of it.
I also want to thank the community that gathered around my early sound baths—friends who showed up at the beach with open hearts, and strangers who quickly became part of a soul family. Their trust gave me the courage to keep going, even when I was still figuring things out.
Most importantly, I want to recognize my husband. His unwavering belief in me, his encouragement during the moments I doubted myself, and his incredible generosity have been the foundation that allowed me to dedicate myself fully to this path. His love has been my anchor and my fuel, and I wouldn’t be here without his support.
And of course, I must honor the plant medicines that opened the door to my deepest awakening, and the unseen realms that continue to guide my work. The healing modality I now share—Juta—came through because of that connection.
This journey has been anything but solo. Every step has been supported by love, encouragement, divine timing, and the grace of something greater than me. So this shoutout is really a thank you to all who have walked with me—seen and unseen.
