We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Mowrey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi taylor, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is consistency, and not being afraid to put myself out there. Showing up every day with intention, even when things aren’t perfect. It’s been about staying true to my vision, trusting the process, and being adaptable while never losing sight of why I started. Success for me, didn’t come from one moment or one decision, but from the commitment to keep learning, evolving, and putting my name out there, no matter what. Even though I’ve only been tattooing for three years, I’ve learned that growth comes from visibility—promoting my work, sharing my art, and being proud of my progress. I still have a lot to learn and accomplish, but staying consistent, believing in my style, and showing up every day has helped me build something I’m really proud of.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My style is fine line, soft, and personal—I love creating tattoos that tell a story and mean something real to my clients. What sets me apart is my eye for detail, my growth, and the connection I build with each person that sits in my chair.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come in just a few years. I started with no following, just passion and drive. It wasn’t always easy, but I kept showing up, stayed consistent, and pushed through the tough moments.

The biggest thing I’ve learned? Just keep going. Share your work, be real, and trust the process. I’m still growing, and I’m just getting started.

to @betty.oops.tattoo on instagram, a tattoo artist in nottingham uk. before I even started tattooing I was very drawn to her style, the attention to detail the beautiful female figures, all of her work has inspired me to do what I do today. Looking back at all of her old designs I have always felt inspired by her detail and work!
