We had the good fortune of connecting with Nahla-Alicia Rabadi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nahla-Alicia, how do you think about risk?
I believe that taking risks on a passion or a purpose an individual has is extremely important. We live in a society that builds a cage for people’s goals and then calls it “dreams” for people to sleep on. I am the first woman-owned and the first generation to own a business. But not just your typical business, a cleaning industry that offers a variety of services.

From gaining my degree in Fashion Merchandising/ Retail Buying to a young entrepreneur owning her own business (which has served over 100 properties and has helped many local businesses with a safer/ cleaner lifestyle) was more than just a risk; it was a lifestyle change and a gamble with life.

Risk is always looked at as “scary” because it pushes us to do the uncomfortable obstacles that many people are scared to do. At the end of the day, we are just another story waiting to be written. I choose my story to be creative, fun, impactful, and maybe inspirational!

What should our readers know about your business?
Super Plus Cleaning LLC is a unique cleaning company that offers cleaning services for both residential and commercial cleaning. Furthermore, we offer a convenient range of services such as pressure washing, organization, post-construction cleaning, industrial cleaning, and so much more. Our motto is “Cleaning for your Well-Being”. We believe the power of keeping a property organized and cleaned gives an individual some peace and clarity to conquer the day.

We have never looked at our competitors, because we look at ourselves as a company that dances to the beat of its own drum.

Reaching the current state of the company was not easy at all. In the beginning, I had no sense of guidance or support because I was looked at as an educated woman in the fashion industry who decided to start a company that requires holding a mop and a bucket. The first year of being established meant I needed to be out on the field finding great candidates, build my team, understand the industry, and find the right clients.
It was, at the time, miserable for me, going into something with no sense of direction and being looked down on, all while trying to pinch pennies on my finances. What was embarrassing to say, I even caused my accounts to go negative several times.

There were several times I just wanted to quit and never look back. But what kept me going was remembering why I started, and how I already invested so much of my time, energy, money, and even my sanity (safe to say). Looking back at all of this, I am extremely grateful I didn’t give up. I learned that nothing great in life will always be handed to you easily. It’s like planting a tree and then expecting it to grow large the next day, and then getting disappointed when seeing the tree still looks the same. It just doesn’t work that way. I gave myself mini to large goals with the company and allowed God to lead me every step of the way. Since then, it has already accomplished many things, which I am proud to see where the company stands!

Super Plus Cleaning has gained the privilege to achieve many great accomplishments in a short amount of time, and it will only get better. We have help service new start-up businesses, donate our time/ services to help local community causes, help volunteer at local churches with cleaning, helping homeowners during and after the Pasadena fires, helping individuals with a new change of lifestyle that prohibits them from doing their cleaning, helped our team provide food on the table, helped people with work, and getting 2025 best commercial cleaning award by the city of West Covina.

Our company isn’t just for cleaning; we provide results that make it easier for people to live their lives. There’s a reason why they call us Super Plus Cleaning.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my several favorite places to go to is downtown Monrovia to grab coffee in the morning at Grey & Cash. From there, go to Los Angeles to have lunch at the Central Market.

I love to go to LA’s Broad Museum, or possibly walk around Griffith Park to burn off some calories.

Burn some more calories by walking and shopping at Rodeo Drive, and then end the evening at the Lacma Lights!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to recognize, first and foremost, God for allowing me to run His business and really pushing the envelope on what is possible through Him. In addition, I would also love to recognize the team of Super Plus Cleaning LLC for making the company’s mission and vision come alive every single day.

There are multiple people I could list whom I am humbly grateful and appreciative of. But I would also love to thank our clients who constantly trust our team and have made the business what it is now!

A special recognition to my parents for unknowingly motivating and inspiring me to become a young entrepreneur.

Last but not least, I would love to thank my partner, Benjamin, for always pushing me to never give up, and remember why the business was established. Through tough times, I needed the support that was given, and he has always surpassed all expectations in needing it! I love you for that!
