Meet Jonathan Colliflower | Owner & Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jonathan Colliflower and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jonathan, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After spending years in the event industry, I realized I had a unique perspective and energy I wanted to bring to the table. I’ve always had a bit of a “cruise director” personality someone who naturally thrives on planning experiences and making sure every detail brings people together in meaningful ways. Over time, I built strong relationships with talented professionals across the field, and I knew I had a trusted network I could collaborate with.
While I admired the work others were doing, I often found myself imagining how I would do things differently how I could bring a fresh spin to the look, feel, and flow of an event. That creative drive, paired with my experience and passion for people, inspired me to start my own business. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an idea go from concept to reality and even more so when you witness the joy it brings to those experiencing it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of my parents, friends, and family without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today. No matter what venture I was diving into whether launching a mobile event suite, creating the first LGBTQ Wedding Expo in Orange County, or designing and decorating large-scale Holiday decor at hotel properties, they were always right there beside me. They lifted me up during the tough moments, rolled up their sleeves to help bring my ideas to life, and helped me build a business rooted in creativity, heart, and a customer-first mindset. Their belief in me has meant everything.
Professionally, it’s been a journey built over years in the event industry. I’ve worn many hats, and each role taught me something valuable. It wasn’t always easy. I’ve learned to trust my instincts, lean into my community, and keep pushing forward even when the path isn’t clear.
What I want the world to know is that my brand is more than events or aesthetics—it’s about crafting moments that leave people feeling seen, celebrated, and inspired. And that’s what drives everything I do.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit, we’d hit the road in a motor-home for a week long adventure, because what’s better than mixing travel, spontaneity, and cocktails on wheels?
The vibe would be slow, intentional, and joyfully curious, because my day-to-day is full speed, and this would be all about reconnecting, recharging, and gathering inspiration from the world around us. It’s all about the journey, the people we meet, and the stories we collect along the way.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My amazing team, without them I would not have made it these 21 years !
