So many of the folks we work with have multidimensional stories. They often aren’t just working on a single project, business or mission – instead they are often involved in so many things all at once and so we often wonder about what they themselves hope their legacy will be about. I want to be remembered as someone who never let her pain define her but instead turned it into purpose. Someone who chose authenticity over approval. Someone who takes risks even when others don’t believe. I didn’t get here by playing it safe. I took risks, followed my intuition, and walked away from comfort even when it scared me. Being the one others rely on isn’t always easy, but it’s a role I embrace with purpose. That’s why I’m passionate about building a legacy that supports the economic needs of women. As “The Number Fairy”, I conduct economic research and grant writing to fund programs and services to support women. Single moms, college students, and women entrepreneurs are powerful leaders who give back in unbelievable ways. I want to be remembered for the way I carry myself through different situations. My humanity and wanting to live and exist on the right side of history. My ability to pivot as well. The way I move through life, especially in a collaborative field like filmmaking, where being yourself but also making space for others is everything.
