Meet Oliver J. North | Speaker, Coach & Serial Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Oliver J. North and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Oliver J., what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking is a huge part in my life. Honestly in all of our lives, what I mean by this is playing it safe is a risk, taking the big swing is a risk. Its a matter of how you see it, I did not want what my parents a society presented to someone like me. Therefore, I left my corporate job and bet on what God told me. I wouldn’t be speaking with you now without the risks I’ve taken and continue to take.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others,
What sets us apart is our commitment to pushing humans to find their gifts and challenging the systems designed to create workers. We are inspiring and developing creators and doers. this is completely against the grain.
what you are most proud of or excited about.
Assisting 11 people to continue life for one more day, serving 107 people every day for the last decade while becoming an uncle and brother my family can look to as a bar of success and achievement.
How did you get to where you are today business-wise.
The Get Rich or Die Trying Method – I sacrificed everything for the opportunity to impact other humans through my childhood trauma, I studied, I went broke, I made myself small and created during those seasons.
Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges?
The hardest thing I’ve ever done
What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way.
If you cant help others whats the point
To get rich and sick is stupid
Money is extremely important in the areas its important in
Everything you do must be bigger than you or you will quit
Systems and operations are how you build and scale business
Human capitol is the best investment
What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
That I’m a poor black boy from section 8 and well-fare, a former foster child to parents that were former addicts and drug dealers. But I didn’t win in spite of my story, I’m winning because of my story. It’s whats giving me the heart to serve, the passion to push through and the mind to impact the world. You should feel that way about your story too, when you see me see you.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
