We had the good fortune of connecting with Marc Faust and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marc, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been fascinated by how ideas and organizations can influence society, a perspective shaped early on by my love of history. I was intrigued by how leaders and movements throughout history were able to position themselves, communicate their vision, and inspire lasting change.

Pairing that fascination with my interest in branding and organizational growth, I began working on causes I cared about — from political positioning and nonprofit development to strategic marketing and communications.

Over time, those projects grew in scale and reach, eventually becoming Givah Group, an international consulting and management firm that today operates across four continents.

What should our readers know about your business?
Givah Group International is a strategic consulting and management firm that works across four continents, helping NGOs, non-profit causes, and hi-tech companies grow their impact.

What sets us apart is the way we combine political insight, historical perspective, and branding expertise into strategies that not only look good on paper but actually move people and ideas forward. For me, this was never just about building a business — it was about turning my lifelong interests into something tangible that helps others succeed.

I’m most proud that what started as personal curiosity has grown into a company that operates internationally, connecting leaders and organizations across industries and regions. But it wasn’t easy. Building across borders meant navigating different cultures, time zones, and industries — and there were definitely moments of trial and error. The way I overcame challenges was by staying consistent and authentic, showing up every day, and remembering why I started in the first place.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned are that strategy and storytelling matter as much as vision, and that adaptability is key. A good idea isn’t enough — you need to position it, communicate it, and adjust it to meet people where they are. If there’s one thing I’d want the world to know about me and about Givah Group, it’s that our story is proof that if you build your career around what you love — whether that’s political causes, branding movements, or helping organizations grow — it doesn’t feel like work. And that passion is what makes growth sustainable.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If a best friend was visiting LA, I’d start at the Santa Monica Pier — it’s a classic, and I always point out the Zoltar fortune-teller machine from the movie Big.

A live taping of Real Time with Bill Maher would be on the list too — it’s one of my favorite shows and a fun LA experience.

We’d spend time around Pico-Robertson enjoying some of my favorite traditional restaurants, and honestly, whenever I’m in LA, I also love grabbing a bite at Whole Foods — it’s simple but always a great healthy meal.

Along the way, I’d show off some of LA’s beautiful Spanish-style architecture, which gives the city so much of its character.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. I’ve been fortunate to have a few mentors who really shaped my experience in politics, marketing, and organizational development. Early on, I learned from people who showed me how strategy and positioning could shape not just campaigns, but entire movements.

Later, I had mentors who guided me in the business and branding side — how to grow organizations, build sustainable models, and tell stories that resonate. Each of them influenced my journey in different ways, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without their support and wisdom.

I also owe a lot to my wife and family for their encouragement — especially as I’ve built an international business that often requires long hours and constant travel. Their support has been a foundation throughout this journey.
