Hi Ismael, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
For me, I started JAG Bookkeeping Inc. with the goal of supporting small businesses in my community. I’m passionate about helping people succeed in what they love to do, so they can take care of their families. I also strongly believe that every new business owner deserves to have the right tools to run their business successfully.

JAG Bookkeeping Services is dedicated to providing highly accurate and ethical bookkeeping services. Our mission is to offer our clients peace of mind by helping them develop and maintain successful businesses.

We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service. We are always available for our clients, regardless of the issue, and we encourage them to reach out with any business questions. We view their challenges as our own and work together as a team to find effective solutions.

JAG Bookkeeping Services has been operating for five years, building on 16 years of accounting experience across various sectors, including both profit and non-profit organizations. We continuously expand our knowledge by partnering with other accounting and tax businesses, allowing us to stay current with diverse accounting areas and business industries.

Our company’s challenges have always been overcome through teamwork. Our employees are the backbone of our company’s values and client success. We’ve learned that as a team, we are stronger in our collective knowledge and passion for our clients’ success.

As a bilingual company, we offer a range of bookkeeping services to small businesses, from Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to Payroll services. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ventura is a vibrant coastal city perfect for nature lovers and history buffs, offering outdoor activities like visiting Channel Islands National Park, biking scenic trails, or relaxing on the beach, as well as historic sites like the Mission San Buenaventura and the picturesque Ventura Pier.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to my incredible wife, Nohemi. She is a beautiful and wonderful woman, and the mother of our three amazing children. My family has given me the courage to pursue my dreams, and everything I do is for them. I truly believe that if my family is successful, then I am successful. We are stronger together.
