Hi Genine, how does your business help the community?
Motherhood Looks Good On You creates a safe and uplifting space for mothers and women to connect, heal, grow, and pour back into themselves through community events, conversations, support, and experiences that promote self-love, wellness, and empowerment.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Motherhood Looks Good On You was created from my real life experiences as a woman and mother. What sets me apart is my authenticity and passion for creating safe spaces where women feel supported, empowered, and reminded to pour into themselves too. Building this brand was not always easy, but through consistency, faith, and believing in my purpose, I’ve learned that healing, community, and self-love are important. I want the world to know that my brand is about uplifting women and reminding them they still matter beyond motherhood.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’ll be honest I am a foodie, so I would love take her to great food spots with good vibes and music playing in the background. I really enjoy places like the wine bar in Inglewood, 1010 and Sweet Serenade on Sundays. Both spots have a great atmosphere, and they’re some of my favorites to unwind and enjoy good food, music, and energy.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I dedicate this shoutout to the people who believe in me with every dream or idea I come up with. I truly appreciate everyone who supports, encourages, and believes in me along the way.
