Meet Keliecia Parker: Product Developer and CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Keliecia Parker and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Keliecia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Ever since I could process a thought or idea I knew I wanted to own a business. As I discovered more of my passions I realized it’d be a fashion company. I want to build something so strong and unique to leave for the future generations to come.. I feel as though my family has sacrificed so much in order for me to fully drop everything and shoot for the stars. So with that in mind, I chose to finally devote my time to my brand.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In this moment I am most proud of my ability to make a space for myself. As unfortunate circumstances peak out to scare me I remain firm and resilient. Allowing myself to fall into my craft creates a safe space incapable of being broken down. Getting to where I am today has been other worldly and exciting as I know this is just the beginning. A lesson I feel as though I keep learning is that I will only get out what I put in. With that, I am learning how to put more of my energy into my business. I want the world to know that my brand is not just cloths being sewn together but pieces created with love and devotion to those who wouldn’t.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have recently relocated to Tallahassee, FL to attend FAMU for Business Administration. So with that I am definitely still learning what areas to check out in the area. But so far I have found solace at a few parks in the area, lake Ella being one of them. I love to paint, do yoga, and just be outdoors when the weather allows it. I would also love to have first time experiences with my friend as we try out different restaurants and hot spots in the city.
