Meet Ken T: Babysitter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ken T and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ken, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a parent I think the most important thing I’ve done as a parent is continue to look for my missin son Cody T. I lost him 26 years ago at a Carl’s Jr in Van Nuys and I spend every second I can looking for him. If I didn’t look for him I would never find him. I promised myself I would never give up even though a lot of people have told me it’s a waste of time including the authorities who declared it a “cold case” years ago. But I’ll never stop. Not until I find my missin son Cody T. Being a dad is hard work but when I find Cody T it will all be worth it.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Over the past year I have been selling t-shirts and other memorabilia on Teespring. The shirts are great quality and I created the designs myself. Starting up this business definitely wasn’t easy. I had to create an account on Teespring and then I had to design shirts from basically scratch but after a lot of trials and tribulations the hard work has paid off. I have used the profits from this business to aid in the search for my missing son Cody T and so far business has been booming. I made over $100 last year which has made looking for my missin son Cody T a lot easier. One of the lessons I learned from this is that anything is possible if you have more money.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Santa Clarita so I like visiting Six Flags once a year. I also love Carl’s Jr because you just can’t beat their onion rings. Sometimes when I’m feeling sad I go to the Carl’s Jr in Van Nuys where I lost my missin son Cody T. Going there usually gives me the motivation I need to continue my mission. If I was visiting LA I would definitely go to the beach because it’s right by the ocean which is cool to see. Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a lot of people to thank for my success in life so far. First off I’d like to thank my brother Lenny for supporting me through thin and thick. I’d also like to thank my idol and hero John Wayne, the greatest actor alive. Whenever I’m out looking for my missin son Cody T I like to imagine I’m John Wayne on the open trail like his character in a Fistful of Dollars. And last but definitely not least I’d like to thank Zeus the Greek god of lightning. Without his guidance I don’t know where I’d be today.
