We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Murdock and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, how do you think about risk?
Risk-taking hasn’t always been second nature for me, overthinking and fear has held me back from truly taking risks in the past. The pivot for me was when I started to change my perspective on circumstances and life in general. Once I realized that I can’t control all outcomes and truly let that go, taking chances became less difficult. A business coach that I had worked with in the past would say to me all the time “Closed mouths don’t get fed”. Anytime I am feeling hesitant about taking a risk, I remember this phrase, and I am immediately encouraged to go for it!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
As a successful lifelong entrepreneur, author, fitness writer, expert, and mom I have used my education and personal experience to fuel my mission of helping women. Navigating my purpose to motivate others through mindset and movement as well as encouraging them to adopt a self-positive mindset inside and out has been an ongoing journey. This wasn’t an immediate realization for me, I definitely had to go through it. my own personal experiences in order to finally make this epiphany but the journey to get there made me a stronger person professionally and personally. Helping my students lead a healthier life and make choices that support body confidence has been my on-going passion of mine each phase of my journey. From post-college weight gain to motherhood lifestyle balance, I have always been my first client. This has helped to make me more relatable to my students confirming I truly know what they are going through. My ‘Train Your Mind, Change Your Body’ philosophy is echoed in my content (writing, interviews, social media, newsletter, videos, press commentary) and digital footprint. I am here to change women’s lives and get that message out there! My years of experience leading the charge to help women take charge over their minds and bodies extends over a decade.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As my company has pivoted recently KnowWell Creative has been a huge part of this shift. I have always told my story but Donnette Noel the founder of KnowWell Creative has encouraged me to share so much more which as a result has helped me reach and help more women love the skin they are in.
