We had the good fortune of connecting with Greg Monterrosa and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Greg, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Letting go of self-doubt, and allowing myself to be my true self in the present. Creating healthy rituals has been crucial. in leadership, we have to take time to fill our cup so we may serve/lead others. When my mind and heart at open and clear, I get to thrive.
What should our readers know about your business?
Milk Room was launched right in the middle of the covid pandemic in August of 2020. Our intention was not only to create a sustainable business but also to inspire our friends through our actions who were feeling helpless or unmotivated. We are a Luxury Streetwear retail store in Woodland Hills, California who showcases a lot of Los Angeles designers and people in our community. We brought the concept to life in 20 days and we have been nonstop since then. We are proudly growing our team, expanding our customer reach, and more importantly, we are creating a positive impact in our community.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
It’s your first time in LA and I’m picking you up at LAX in an exotic car from Malibu Autobahn; we are headed straight to in-n-out, from there we make our way to the Getty Center to give you a perspective of the layout of the city and take in the views. After a stroll, we take the 10 to PCH to Cornel Wines in the Santa Monica Mountains. Here we will get to taste amazing wines grown in Malibu and the surrounding areas. For the best sunsets in Los Angeles, head up to the penthouse bar at the Huntly Hotel in Santa Monica, or the Sunset Restaurant in Malibu. For papering be sure to head to Body Werks in Calabasas. Brick Burger has one the best street food burgers in town, Visit Milk Room in Woodland Hills for the hottest vintage tees, luxury streetwear, and sneakers. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
A big shout out the friends and strangers that have been there for me along my journey. I appreciate you all.
