We had the good fortune of connecting with Arsineh Hoonanian and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Arsineh, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of our brand and business, has always been the ability to push forward and never give up. When we first started Little Artist Party over 10 years ago, we were faced with endless challenges, as most startup businesses do. Whether it was figuring out how to balance work and personal life, developing the right business strategies, or simply believing in our brand, the process of getting to where we are today, was motivated by our long term goals and vision. Another important factor behind the success of our brand and business is truly the amazing clientele and partners we’ve worked with over the years. Over time, many clients have become friends and many celebrities have trusted us with their events and later also hired us for private playdates for their kids! We feel extremely honored because they know that they can count on us.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We feel like our business sets us apart from others, because we were one of the first arts and crafts entertainment companies for kids in the industry. Being that we did not have other similar businesses to learn from over ten years ago, it pushed us to learn and grow from our own experiences and challenges as a business over the years. When we need a little reminder of how far we’ve come, we love looking through our Instagram, and seeing how much we’ve evolved even from just a few years ago. No matter what obstacles we were facing, we never gave up and continued to bring our best selves forward in hopes to nurture our growing brand. We want young entrepreneurs to know that if you come up with a new idea or business venture, don’t be afraid of pursuing your vision. Keep your vision bright and stay focused on your goals, and later down the line, you will set the example for others.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I can think of an endless list of places that I would love to take my friend to show her the best time ever while visiting me in Los Angeles. Where do I begin? I would start with a morning coffee and stroll around Beverly Hills for some shopping and a delicious lunch at Il Pastaio for their amazing pasta dishes. The next day we would head to the gorgeous Newport Beach and have lunch at Javier’s, then soon after grabbing some tea at The Resort at Pelican Hill. Lastly, I’m a kid at heart, so we definitely need to make time for a visit to Disneyland in Anaheim as well!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship and encouragement of others, the last ten years of building my business has been very rewarding and filled with constant joy. In return, I would like to take this moment and truly thank those who have been involved with my success and helped me keep Little Artist Party a continuous joy and passion. Shout out to my amazing party hosts and cleaning crew who’ve helped us not only entertain our little artists, but also wash and sanitize all of the arts and crafts supplies after every party! There are over 100 tools to clean after every event! I would also like to give a shout out to my wonderful assistant, Melody, who has truly helped reshape the brand of our business over the last few years. Lastly, my amazing family and friends who are constantly supporting me with love, words of affirmation and encouragement. My children and husband are my true inspiration through all of this!
