The Truth Never changes While growing up as a child I would lie a lot to cover up the truth as I did that I would find out it’s hard to keep track of these lies to others and to myself. Now I stand by that saying because ultimately the truth never changes and it’s a lot easier going thru life being honest to myself and others Read more>>

I do have a favorite quote. It is a quote from Gene Kelly, as he was receiving his Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute. At the end of his acceptance speech, Gene Kelly said, “You dance love, and you dance joy, and you dance dreams.” For me, it is a constant reminder of the many steps and sacrifices one does take in order to live out their dreams and to make them come true, especially one’s love for that dream. I’ve come across many quotes that have been real guiding lights in both my acting career and personal life. Right now, there’s one quote that really speaks to me: “Do your part and let God do the rest.” It resonates with me because a lot of my successes have come from being in the right place at the right time – that magical intersection where preparation meets opportunity. By cultivating a mindset of curiosity and openness, we can uncover these opportunities and pave the way for growth, success, and fulfillment in various aspects of our lives. Read more>>

Eric Liddell: “I believe God made me for a purpose – but he also made me fast. And when I run, I feel His pleasure.” When I heard this quote I was moved by how direct and joyful Eric Liddell’s expression of his talent for athleticism was, and that his Christian faith drives his spirit to fulfill a purpose which lies outside of merely survival. For myself, as a child of artist/designer parents I grew up unaware of how artistic expression was anything other than living itself. Even things such as the feeling of the sun warmed garden stones in my hands and the fresh rain falling for my breath, or a patch of sunlight warmed carpet for my face–these things to me were joy and art. I only realized later on that God shaped my entire way of perceiving this world in order for me to express and experience joy. Read more>>
