When I first conceived of The Disappointments, my goal was to tell a story that felt personal, that resonated with me. I believed others might connect as well. Most adults, no matter what their background, have some of sense of disappointment in how their lives have turned out. When I was 7 years old, I saw the benefits of yoga help my mom heal and recover from cancer and the side effects from chemotherapy. That inspired me to want to teach yoga and help others heal and stay healthy through this healing practice.
