Hi Justice, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I have quite a few favorite quotes but lately one in particular has been on my mind, ”There is no illusion greater than fear.” -Lao Tzu. Fear kills the mind and fear limits us, a head full of fear has no space for dreams. We often create scenarios in our minds and run with them. Fear has spent a good amount of time with me, time that I cannot reclaim and to be honest fear still knocks on my door but this quote reminds me that fear is nothing but an illusion, False Evidence Appearing Real. Once I overcome fear the feeling is like no other and to think the only thing holding me back, were my very own thoughts. Once you defeat fear that’s when you truly start living life.

More Justice is a brand that brings you timeless streetwear while also giving your clothing a voice. We’re a brand that represents the people. As a brand we’re proud to represent Justice, a global message, something that is constanlty needed worldwide and of course we are proud to be a Black/Jamaican/Female owned brand.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d start out with having brunch at My 2 cents in Mid-city or Republique and then hit up a few galleries/museums like the underground museum, The Broad and/or MOCA (art is a must). I’d probably try to squeeze in a beach visit for sunset, and as for dinner, I love to cook for my friends and family, so the night would most likely end at my place. Music, dinner, good fun-loving energy, you can’t go wrong with a home cooked meal.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Huge shoutout to my family, my mother and my brother especially. Of course my close friends who are always by my side and the customers, they all keep me going!
