We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristin Reveles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kristin, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
One of the most important lessons being in my blogging career taught me was to be true to myself no matter what anyone thinks. I’ve always gotten the same compliment from anyone I have met in person or talk to on social media that I’m not like a regular blogger, I’m genuine and that has been the most biggest compliment to receive. To stay genuinely to yourself is what makes you always stand apart from anyone is my advice.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started to become one of the Chapter Officers for The Southern California Bloggers Union. I feel helping others where to start or have some direction is helpful. I didn’t have that when I started my blogging career and I had to find resources online and I feel sometimes now that I’m still learning as I go. Just because I have been doing this professionally for 3 years doesn’t mean I know it all, it means I still can grow from it.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I would love to take someone to the local wineries in Temecula, Akash Winery is one of my favorites and the story of their vineyard is amazing. The pool at Bottaia Winery is a great day to relax and their food is delicious! There are so many local wineries that I could visit one a day and be happy there with all the sweet hospitality.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My husband has always been my biggest supporter and always gives me the encouragement that I need. I feel sometimes when I don’t know where to go next in my career he has always been there to help me, whether it is in the business side of blogging or just an outfit suggestion, he is always there when I need him.
