We had the good fortune of connecting with Mario Orazio Ruvio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mario Orazio, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
How to know you ask me well I think it’s different from person to person. I personally believe that once you know what you want to do the give up option is just not there. What I mean is that because I know what I want to be and or become I cant but more importantly i don’t wanna give up. I love what I do and I will risk my life for it if I have to. So I think that is the real question to ask. ARE YOU READY TO PUT YOUR LIFE AT RISK FOR IT, FOR YOUR DREAM.? And I answer yes to it. The only way to success is failure and the only failure is giving up.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of my acting and my will of becoming one. My art varies like water. Where ever you put it it fits. That is how i consider my acting and my voce when i rap. To get where i am today i had to struggle but the best thing is that the struggle is not over, It just begun. One of the hardest things was to leave everything behind for the dream i wanted to conquer. It was never easy and if it was I wouldn’t have chosen it in the first place. I overcame the challenges thanks to my dedication and determination accompanied by a lot of love coming from my family and my friends. Without my mum Adele de pascale I wouldn’t be where I am now. I learned a lot of things along my way and one of them is to never compare your progress to the one of others. In addition I learned to never make it about yourself its always about the others. You shine if other shine with you. I want the world to know that I am here to make the world a better place if i can with my art and that i am here to try and change it for the better. I want the wold to know that if you are good and strong and believe firmly in yourself you can achieve anything. The limit is our imagination.

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I will make him visit first the beach because as Italian we love the beach and have so much fun at it. So Venice beach will be the first spot then following Santa monica. The next day Malibu. After all the City attractions like Universal studios, Hollywood sign, Hollywood blvd and many others. Then I will bring them to Big Bear, and Joshua Tree. If there is some time left for sure ill bring his to San Diego and la Jolla.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Luca Seretti the person I am trying to build something here in Los Angeles along with Mario Ronaldo Garcia and Celine Rosalie Zoppe. And also a shoutout to my buddies in Rome who keep working had and definitely need some recognition. Smacco(rapper) Pier Francesco Bonolis(videomaker, editor, director, cinematographer) Leonardo Fiorani (beatmaker), Gianluca Giaquinto (writer) I would be nothing without these guys
