We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Aquino and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
We all have different experiences and decisions to make by that continue doing something we love or very important to make the right decision to keep going and not to give up. Knowing to choose whether to keep going or to give up is to look into your past experience and know how you feel about them if you think it’s not important by doing it and it’s just a waste of time, its time for you to make the decision to stop and let it go and go with your most priority that’s will make you happy. If you found something important and love doing it you must keep going to achieve your goal and go with all your heart to be successful. Even you expect it too hard don’t give up try different tactics and you will find your way not to give up.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career as a photographer is a long process of where I am today. What set me apart from others is I can say I take beautiful images, my passion for photography, and my commitment to reply to clients as possible and send good images but those quality chances that other photographers can do as well. Like anyone can do that so the only thing that set me apart that I can think of differently is here’s something more about me, some good.. some funny… but they’re me. I love doing something more important and showing more hard work, and patience. I’m most excited about what’s coming for me in the future or in my journey in photography like where it’s going to take me and experience more challenges. Getting where I am today has up and down but overcome those challenges from where I am today. It’s not easy like I said there’s a lot of challenges and you will meet different people who will like your work or not but you just have to keep going what you love and don’t let those people who don’t like your work to stop you, make it them as your inspiration to move forward and keep going. There are so many lessons I learned along the way Pay attention, Observe, and Share because what goes around you, you can learn from their success and failures and don’t compare what you have (or don’t have) with others share what you have that makes you special just keep being YOU!
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend visiting me I will take them to some popular places here in Los Angeles like Malibu beach, Disneyland the happiest place on earth, and I am going to show my friend around my area and many more to get a best bonding time ever. And if we can take a trip somewhere far out of LA as well like San Francisco and Las Vegas that we can try to visit. I’m sure we’re going to try a different kind of food because we always want to try something cool and new. Also, were going to try the Santa Monica pier spot where we can try to drink and do a different kind of activities like walking, biking, swimming, and surfing. Lastly, we’re going to try hiking the most exciting thing to try and check out new hiking trails with falls around Los Angeles by challenging our self to hike 10 miles together.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
For me, a friend of mine who encouraged me to become active and ended up taking photos, he’s one of my classmates from high school and we became friends even we don’t close that much he gave me the advice to show the world my talent and just keep doing what I love. And now I shoot professional models which is I just start shooting random people last time. I will not mention his name but I know, you know who you are if you are reading this article.
