We had the good fortune of connecting with Aaron Stauber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aaron, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As long as I can remember, I was wanted to operate my own practice. There’s a difference between practicing as a healthcare provider and running a business. Being able to balance being the practitioner versus being a business owner is super important when it comes to healthcare. With that in mind, I was wanted to put the priority of the patient first as opposed to running a business. I don’t really think of my practice as a business in the traditional sense. There’s no doubt systems in place that need to be organized so that the practice runs smoothly but it’s all with the intention of making sure the patient is looked after first and foremost with their healthcare.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I guess I really see working with the body is an art form. I love working with individuals who are interested in getting out of pain changing and receiving the way their body looks and feels.

I have a strong background in upper cervical rehabilitation for individuals dealing with head trauma, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and a lot of health issues that just don’t seem to resolve.

The art of chiropractic is really one of learning how the body moves, feels and transforms throughout its life. When I have a chance to work with somebody, it’s really about understanding their movement patterns, their structure and function, and I take a deep dive into all layers of the tissue that involves health.
From skeletal structures and soft tissue and all structural and functional components therein.

I think a lot of times people think of Chiropractic as just popping bones and snapping necks but to me it’s so much more than that and really is more about shaping, remodeling and revitalizing and renewing a body that needs help.

I really want to make sure when patients come to my office that they understand that it can be done in a very precise, gentle and effective manner. Doesn’t have to hurt doesn’t have to be aggressive, but rather they can explore and they can see and feel the transformation in their body as they continue to get better and better..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Los Angeles is such a great area. I definitely am an ocean person and love being by the water so surfing hanging out at the beach, swimming, boogie boarding, all those things I would take my friends to. I love the cultures and diversity of here. All the different food menus that you can get. You really can’t go wrong with all the small restaurants the taco trucks and incredible ambience you get from going to so many different areas from downtown to Venice, and all over.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

There’s so many people that I’m grateful for, and the support that they’ve provided me throughout the years.

My wife who also happens to be a chiropractor, has always supported the work that I’ve done and challenged me to think outside the box as well as give me different perspectives on life in general so I’m super grateful for all the help and support she’s provided.

My parents are huge part of instilling the work ethic and values that I hold with me every day.

Our two children that have shown me how to embrace new changes and to integrate into new opportunities and challenges as I’ve seen them do in the last few years. We moved from a town just outside of Toronto, Canada to Los Angeles, and that transition for entire family was no doubt big; but observing how they handled everything was remarkable and I applaud them and appreciate all the support they’ve shown over the years.

I have a brother here in Los Angeles who has been supportive on many different fronts and I’m very grateful for that as well.
