We had the good fortune of connecting with Abraham Yusuf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abraham, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I used to be a finance manager at a high volume dealership where I wasn’t able to actually show my artistic or creative side.

I used to do home renovations projects and interior design work in my own home as well as the homes of family and friends as a side hustle. I loved the idea where I can change a room or whole home and put my touch on it. The idea of turning a space from a vision I had drawn up on my tablet into something realistic was a great feeling.

It inspired me to leave the auto industry and peruse my career in renovations and interior design.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My company name is Rearrange It I have clients all through out the Bay Area and greater Los Angeles area. I do residential and commercial renovation and interior design. I started in auto sales as a financial manager before I started my company.

I started this company mostly as a side job while still working my main job. I did lots of home renovation projects on my own home as well as friends and family. I love the idea of having a range of free creation and making my ideas come to reality.

I started this company eight years ago. It wasn’t smooth sailing at first I had to build up my clientele. I had to showcase my work and prove to people that I’m the company that they should hire.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I don’t wanna sound very cliché, but if I had a best friend who was out of town and has never visited LA obviously you wanna show up the tourist things that they see on TV or heard about such as Roscoes chicken and waffles for breakfast In-N-Out for dinner and maybe like a really good restaurant that’s like in Beverly Hills but that’s not what I would wanna do.

For breakfast, I’d probably take us to wake and late for a good breakfast burrito Shopping on Melrose look at some sneakers at Coolkicks and probably if they want to see some more luxury things we probably go to rodeo Drive. And if they want to eat somewhere nice like a steakhouse, I’d probably recommend Ocean prime. But if we wanted to just keep it simple, maybe a nice hike to the Hollywood sign and then probably finish the night at the beach preferably Manhattan Beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s a well known designer named Brandon Neff i get my inspiration from
