We had the good fortune of connecting with Aitan Friedberg and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aitan, what is the most important factor behind your success?
It comes down to mindset and energetics. Years ago I learned that everything in this world is a projection of our internal world. So, I created a vision and a dream and I lived it every day for years, rewiring my thought patterns and beliefs to match and equate to success.

A few years later Aliya Homes was born, a personal brand I knew could channel my inner work. Aliya Homes was born from success, its very beginning is rooted in the notion of success.

That is why my personal energy and mindset towards my business is the most important factor behind my brand’s success.

What should our readers know about your business?
It was all about taking that first leap of faith. It took me days to work up the courage to make my first phone call to a leading overseas agent to give us our first shot. For those who don’t know, Aliya Homes is a next-generation Real Estate Agency. We specialise in creating media marketing content for luxury and exclusive listings worldwide, via full walkthrough tours.

We have a YouTube channel where we showcase some of the most exquisite properties available for sale or holiday rental in Los Angeles and Cape Town. We plan on being everywhere eventually, but it’s only been one year, so we’re pretty amazed we’ve made it thus far!

As the host of the channel, at first, it was extremely difficult being behind the camera (I barely ever posed for photographs in my personal life). I figured it is a skill that is learned over time, and looking at how far I have come in a matter of months is quite astonishing…I’ve surprised myself. If you ever watch one of our first videos try not to laugh (I certainly do!).

The feedback we have received in our first year has certainly been a big motivator to keep going. The connections and networks I have developed are golden. I expect Aliya Homes to be one of the biggest names in real estate over the next few years. I like to move fast, sometimes my team can’t keep up with me!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My wife is certainly my biggest cheerleader and supporter. Although she is actually more than that, she is my teacher and ‘life guru’.

She persuaded me to follow my dreams, think big and improve my internal world to manifest the business/brand of my highest self. She has been there for me during tough times and helped me navigate through the highs and lows. I am truly grateful to have her.

Also standing behind me is the Aliya Homes team, led by my business partner Garry, who shares my passion and vision for everything we do. Our production manager Chris is invaluable, constantly striving to improve our quality and has become a close friend on our journey together.
