We had the good fortune of connecting with Albert Aldana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Albert, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Success can be defined in many ways. To me success means being happy and complete, managing the business with a heart and respect, knowing that at the end of the day I made someone’s life better. We take pride in the work we do and enjoy what we do. I treat our team members with respect and dignity, I try to make an enjoyable work place so that they are happy. If they feel happy and respected then it translates to team members giving their best at everything they do which results will be happy and satisfied clients. My M.O. in life is treat others the way you want to be treated. If I treat my team members well and go above and beyond to take care of them, I have no doubt they will do the same for all of our clients. Till this day, this has not failed me. In todays world, we are all looking for that human touch and connection, we pay more for experiences and memorable moments. That’s what we try to do at Snap. It all starts with us in our corporate culture. Making sure that we create memorable moments for our team, so they can also create memorable moments and experiences for our clients.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Snap is more than just a company that offers services. There is a saying that says “If you build it, they will come”. What we are building is a company that has a heart and does everything with excellency. It’s a company that treats people with dignity and respect. A company that takes pride in everything we do. In the business of providing a service, specially when it comes to providing in-home services, people need to trust you. Someone just doesn’t open the doors to a stranger, we know this, therefore we value the trust our clients have placed in us and we do everything we can do to always go above and beyond in meeting their needs and expectations. We are building a company that not only provides cleaning services and other in-home services but a company that clients feel we are family. Family always has your back and we want our clients to know that we have their backs, They can rest assure that they will be taken care of as one of our own. If we build it, they will come because at the end we rely on the people we trust the most. This is one of the things I most proud of and what sets us apart. Honestly I think we are a unique company and our reviews and client feedback is a testament of that.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The amazing City of Angels is the best city in the world. I have travelled to over 20 countries and though each has its unique appeal by far the LA is the best, we have literally everything. I would start off the week by taking them on a tour of Beverly Hills and Hollywood and end the day at the rooftop bar at the Waldorf-Astoria in Beverly Hills to take in the amazing sunset and LA skyline. Another day we would go on a hike to my favorite place in Griffith Park and have brunch and Urth Café and have one of their amazing avocado toasts. I would for sure not want them to miss seeing the sunset at one of the many spots in Palos Verdes peninsula while we take some wine and sit by one of the cliffs, it’s magical! You can’t forget a drive down PCH with the windows rolled down and take the 10 freeway down and end up in Big Bear. Where else can you go from beach to snow in a matter of just miles! I would make sure they don’t leave before they start their day with my favorite morning fix from Supa Coffee (get their Dr. Dre) in Robertson-Pico area and then try the street hot dogs with bacon wrapped around them for lunch. Cool down with one of the ice creams from Mateos (mango sorbet is delicious) in Ktown and have dinner at Nerano in Beverly Hills or one of the Salvadorian “Panes con Pavo” or for the fit minded the Carmela’s salad at Jaragua in Ktown. I would also try to crash an event in which Moderno Cocina is catering, as their food (Al Pastor Octupus tacos with hand made tortillas, my favorite) is truly out of this world with their modern touch of Mexican cuisine.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Behind every successful person there is a team that has helped that person get to where they are. To me that team has been my family and friends. They have not only encouraged me but also believed in me. When I have needed help they have gladly stepped up to the plate and helped. When it has become overwhelming they have been there to help carry the weight. Whether it’s an advice or just a phone call to hear me out vent, or a dinner to celebrate ones accomplishments to encouraging messages or notes, they have been there.

My parents guidance and way they raised me with values and principles has been everything in my life as it has opened the doors for me, so definitely my parents and brother deserve a shout out, because it all started with them. My friends Angel, Carmen, Sergio and John also deserve a shout out because they have inspired me and have been there, supporting me in any way they can. Without them I would not be where I am today. They truly are worth gold and appreciate them beyond what I may ever be able to express.
